Saw that 2 days ago, I’d be a little surprised to see Shy, though I was expecting to see some of Dash. Just so I’m not disappointed, I’m not hoping to see either. I just want to see all the glitches fixed and mechanics tweaked, see how much the game has grown.
Why do they need it in katakana?
In the character select screen, they display character names in English and Japanese.
The character select menu for the game has the pony, her name and her name in katakana, along with the pony’s splash art in the background. Hard to describe, but here:
Angel would typically be エンジェル, not エインジェル
I don’t agree with that. Ei makes sense for an A sound, unless there’s some rule against ei that I’m not aware of.
エンジェル was settled on, as the person who helped translate said “well, I guess you could go with either エインジェル or エンジェル” + “エンジェル is more standardized, I suppose.”
eh it’s just Romaji after all, only us English speakers would pay attention to the actual pronunciation
