I wanna play rainbow dash and spam dive kicks!
Omg, I hate Twilight’s Cr.B, that stupid thing is worthless, It whiffs on crouching ponies, I keep trying to do low A,B,C but the B keeps whiffing. It looks like it could be an okay anti air, but it’s too slow to be.
It’s very good as an anti-air, it whiffs directly in front of her.
c.A-c.A-c.C links anyway.
But me personally I don’t use c.B at all for Twily. Launcher is a good enough anti-air and it can be cancelled into s.B on block or hit.
Basically whenever you see a c.B from twilight (such as in Molly’s video) as an open or combo command, you know that the player isn’t that good (same can be said of any launcher combo that doesn’t have an A>B>C>236C combo in it : ) However, it does have pretty strong priority vs jump ins (including AJ j.C), but Twi has better options than it.
But yeah, splash art really does look like RD has a divekick. “We just got a real game!”
Love the splash art, love the updated theme, pretty hyped to see what Rainbow Dash is capable of! I’ve always liked playing with aerial specials even if I’m not that good at them.
edit: Also, looks like the VA auditions are now open so we might even get to hear her in-game voice by early next month!

Really hype to see some Rainbow Dash gameplay, since that’s the only of the mane 6 that hasn’t been shown at all. So curious.

When people said that Rainbow was going to be the toughest voice yet, they weren’t kidding. Hate to say it, but a lot of the first auditions are just… falling flat, sounding like rednecks with bowel movement problems.
There’s still lots of time left, and I gotta say… it looks like the hopefuls will have to be willing to hurt their throats with this one. The actual voice actress, Ashleigh Ball, said she once had to cancel shows on her Hey Ocean tour because she needed to heal her throat after doing Rainbow’s voice work for long periods of time.
We’ve heard a couple of good voices in the fan-produced stuff, we only hope they will want to audition. In saying that, we’ve been pleasantly surprised with all our past character auditions. And it hasn’t once come down to a clear winner, even at the final stages. It’s always been a tough decision, and we are grateful bigtime to anyone who takes the time to help us (for free!) to make this game awesome!
