Haha, the Cubs called up Jake Fox, who’s basically a DH. Former catcher, 3rd baseman, outfielder, bad at all of them. but his hitting this year in AAA has been kind of hard to ignore:
175 ABs…17 walks to 28 k (only one intentional walk, how the hell?), 63 hits, 14 doubles, 2 triples (wow), 17 homers, 50 rbi, .423/.503/.886/1.389.
It’ll be interesting to see how how the Cubs get his bat into the lineup, considering his fielding deficiencies.

Actually, usually they play well in May, and suck after that, so lets hope for the reverse, it’s all I can hope for.
