MLB (Baseball) 2009 (including fantasy leagues)

I hope my Marlins have staying power this year. I just hope their pitching holds up. I know now they have the best record, but I’m interested to see how far along they are after May or June.

Is Ricky Romero our #2 starter now…?

What a wacky season so far.

yeah i know im just poking fun

dude it is pretty clear where i was going in the joke. Man chill out.

at least simon was knocked of the game because of an “elbow injury” and the bullpen shut those mofos down. But after a while that bullpen will get clubbed.

It does look like it, with Tallet coming in to fill the open spot.

I have a bad feeling that something is wrong with Litsch and we may lose him for the season

Also, Scott Rolen is looking good again.

ugh, so it begins. O’s embarrassment. Good god they are getting rocked.

Wow, how bout them Yankees? LOL scrubs.

^ LOL that’s good

Edit: About to take on (hopefully) my last draft of the year. So bored… and I’m still pissed about the way I drafted in our ESPN Non-Keeper league!

Roy Halladay is God.

Two on, none out in the 6th…he just strikes out the side - Casilla with the curve, Morneau with the low curve + high heat, and Kubel on three inside cutters. No need for waste pitches, no need to work the outside and then come back in, no need to mix speeds…just fuck 'em, throw 'em three cutters, let 'em swing.

I am entirely prepared for the possibility that this might be the absolute high point of the season.

And I’m okay with that.

So, for your future reference… if you join a midseason draft on ESPN, it puts your H2H stats as if you’ve already played the games with the players you drafted… so I’m off to a nice little 8th place start, lol.

And then the 7th rolls around where we fuck the shit out the Twins bullpen.

Seriously, why is R.A. Dickey still in the league? Millar smoked his first pitch knuckleball (nothing special even for a knuckler) like it was BP.

If Doc, Romero keep going strong and Purcey can find some command, that along with hitting could lead to at least another 83-86 win season, which I’d be pretty happy for since Marcum and Mcgowan are out and all our prospects hit next year.

Nobody really showed up in my roto league but I had to take a shit and missed a few late picks.

I’m sitting in 5th place right now. None of my offense is off to blistering starts but Orlando Hudson is breaking out this year.

Sheesh, year of the cycle.

Year of high ERA. Woot.

Lol my pitchers have an ERA of over 6 this week, and I am winning the ERA category.

Yeah I’m crying about it because I got high ERA in 3 of 4 of my fantasy teams this week.

7.32
10.88
5.40

and Aaron Hill break out year??

Good lord, Cleveland.

Ming Wang’s ERA = 54.00

good thing I had some other pitchers go for a couple 0’s

I just can’t believe we not only got blown out AT HOME but 22-4 is nothing short of insane. It’s mind boggling.

You gotta be fucking kidding me? I finished tied in BOTH leagues this week? Tied 5-5-0 in the Keeper and tied 4-4-2 in Basebrawl. How in the fuck?

Edit: LOL who let this happen?
