Yes. I don’t think enough people play his bad matchup’s seriously enough at tournaments for them to be as big of an issue as it is made out to be. But thats just this one nerd ballers personal opinion.
Stryker needs some help, that’s pretty obvious.
I play stryker as well but I think he need a quick overhead attack. Btw, I really Kitana and Jade but I think they are overpowered. You can easily do combos that does 40% damage.

Ok they’re good but come on now… If she really was OP Kitana would’ve won more tournaments don’t you think? So far all Kitana/Jade players I’ve seen got blown up before they got to top 8.
And 40% combos? I’ve seen way worse than that in the past (from Scorp, Reptile, Ermac etc)
They both have good combos and zoning, but at the same time they need to work harder than say Ermac or Kung Lao.

Read this thread. According to the developers, he will get some buffs in the coming tweak.
Pre-patch top 3 was Sub Zero, Kung Lao, and Raiden in no particular order, says Tom Brady. I’m not yet sure how much Kung Lao is affected by the patch. In my opinion, any character with a strong defensive move will be good in this game.
I think this game would have been better with a run button like MK3 and UMK3. The tiers would be different also I think
Can I ask what all this “he has 3” or “she can use 1.” I’m familiar with some abbreviations, but in MK, this confuses me.

Kabal has to be S tier even without his infinite block trap, especially against non-teleporting characters. If your character doesn’t have teleporting, it’s going to be pretty close to impossible to beat a well-versed Kabal’s zoning game.
Well Tom and REO think Nightwolf is the new number 1.
And that EX shadow kick will really help Johnny Cage in some bad matchups (vs zoners mainly).

I don’t know why there are not Johnny Cage players. “That’s the Trick” [the one where he does a bunch of little high kicks] combo is the biggest BULLSHIT of life. You can essentially spam that shit until infinity because the window to punish is so fucking small. So you either…
A) Block it and get pushed away
B) Eat it and eat a mixup of either throw or another trick combo
I used Mileena and I can’t instill any fear into any Johnny player because of how they just go into defensive mode until they get get off their stupid combo and just kill me over and over. WTF can I do against that?!
The tiers haven’t really changed much except for some nerfs to top tier characters (they’re still top tier though). I guess Kabal and Reptile has moved up in some people’s eyes given their success in recent tournaments.
What tier is Mileena? I’ve heard she’s mid low and high tier so I don’t know. And why is she in that tier?
Mileena is probably like B+. Her mix up game is her best asset IMO along with relatively easy combos. I play as Mileena as one of my mains and when I play against other Mileenas I still have a hard time with her as she her mixups are a lot of guessing. Mileena rushdowns are a handful. Her blocked sky kick and ground ball lead to full punish however and most Mileena players spam those two moves.
Chris G and MichealA are just GDLK with this game. Tough to say overall how much its character > player or vice versa.
I think ChrisG and Arturo showed that Reptile definitely has some great tools with his array of projectiles and his elbow rush to get past zoners. Michaelangelo is just very good given that some of the other top Kabal players haven’t done too well without his infinite. However, I have also seen some new Kabal players that seem pretty good.
