Bad News: The MK Community will probably use up all their “Ask and ye shall receive” DLC privileges (if Boon was even serious about that) on him. Remember the firestorm that broke out over Motaro’s lack of ass in MKA? That’s the exact reason I never look at Mortal Kombat Online except for news and fan art now. This is proof that the leak from a while ago is a legitimate leak (though things may have changed a whole LOT since then). They mention what happened to Motaro, and I didn’t even see it with all the other stuff in there.
On an even more positive note, Ed Boon confirmed via Twitter that the Kabal fatality he thought “went too far” WASN’T the one we saw on GTTV. Maybe his idea of “too far” sucks compared to us, but it’s interesting.

I have no idea what to think of Bo Rai Cho. I played a bit of him in MKD, but that was ages ago. All I know is that he was a fat monk who threw up and fought like a shut in who couldn’t lift his walking stick higher than his hip.

A lot of people forget that Mortal Kombat is more a camp piece than anything else. The story of it isn’t meant to be serious, it’s all one giant work of parody designed to make fun of chop-socky Hong Kong action movies. This is why you had characters who were just walking cliches, like Shujinko and Kenshi and…pretty much everybody, and then you had comedic characters like the drunken old teacher(Bo’ Rai Cho) and the egotistical American blowhard(Johnny Cage).
