Any gameplay differences between the two bots and their human forms?
I’m 100% done the Krypt but I don’t have his or Cyber Sub Zeros. What am I supposed to do?
There isn’t an alt for Cyber Sub Zero unless his is DLC at a later date. I didn’t unlock Quan Chi myself.
I assume that while you have the alt you didn’t do(one of) two things:
Either you didn’t unlock Quan Chi for the Nekropolis or you didn’t unlock the alt in Nekropolis.
Supposedly Cyrax teleports faster as human but throws his net slower.

I got Quan-Chi’s in the Krypt, was in the area you start in. I don’t even have him unlocked yet and I have it.

Anyone who is playing Cyrax…what is the timing on X-Ray xx Dash Uppercut?
Do I have to start it before the last animation of the X-Ray, or do I have to do it right when it finishes?
Man, I really want to play Baraka in this game but he is so awful. His dmg output is total shit and a lot of his normals are slow as molasses. He has some decent specials to make up for it, but I hope they patch him because it seems like he’s have lots of potential to be fun.
Baraka is more like the ANTI rushdown character. Characters that rely on teleports or getting close to your face (e.g. Johnny Cage) will have trouble with him. I think his chop chop move is unblockable as well and even you try to leg sweep baraka, the chop chop will get you.
I agree that he is slow though. His spark is close to useless and any zoners like Noob destroy Baraka.

I’m trying to change the button config for player 2 but for some reason it is only in the default mode.
I’ve changed the presets 1-4 to the same thing and when I select any of those for player 2 it stays in default mode. I know I have to be doing it wrong.

Noob is like Honda. If Noob’s opponent has a teleport, he loses. If not, he wins. That’s kind of all there is to it, at least on paper. In practice, Noob will probably end up upper-mid or thereabouts, but only the trickiest Noob players will win. I myself am probably going to take him up as a secondary behind Raiden.
im beginning to really not like the online of this game. throws sometimes whiff and the input delays just make you sometimes wanna rage quit. ill keep playing on but its really stupid how it can be, even on good connections.
I think mk4 actually played better than this game. Sure, it was ugly as hell, but the core game still felt fairly crisp like the old games. I’m trying to keep at it, but it just isn’t a whole lot of fun outside of a couple of chars.
Can you play as the Tsung in ladder… the one that morphs to all the characters for real. ( I assume not, just figured I’d ask)

Nah, you can’t. You have to play as regular Tsung.

Any other Sub Zero players having troubles against teleport characters? Freeze ray and ice puddle are essentially useless (besides Freeze ray in combos obviously) and I basically rely on the slide and blocking the entire time and punishing mistakes. I feel like Sub Zero is decent but will have trouble against some characters (like Scorpion who was owning me today).
Still new to this series in general though so could just be me for now. Planning on learning Kung Lao and Johnny Cage next… then Stryker and Noob 
Im really glad I decided to buy this game at the last minute. It is different but a lot of fun in its own way. MvC3 will still be the game that gets most of my attention but this game will be #2 for awhile… depending on KOF 13 release and how much I like the new offensive based AE.
Use the ice clone. It keep players from overusing teleport moves. You can punish him on reaction if the teleport as start up like Scorpion’s and Ermac’s.
