MK1-UMK3 in HD? I’d much rather have 4 than 1, but since UMK3 is the only one that matters w/e.
And I literally just bought a new computer so I could play MK on MAME (and other games) with HQ4x on so it looks as good as it can on my HDTV. Ridiculous.
I figure if they do this they should include four games. 1, 2, UMK3, and vanilla MK3 for kicks just because they can. Don’t really care about Trilogy.
I’d like to see it done like Street Fighter Alpha Anthology where you can mess with dip switches and shit.
MK3 is obsolete. Besides, UMK3 is MK3 Rv3.2.
It’ll probably (hopefully) just be UMK3 with MK3 pictures and the ones added from Trilogy for the new characters… and just called “MK3”.
So was Alpha 3 vs. Alpha 3 Upper but it’s presence in the Alpha Anthology was still neat. I think they should include all revisions like Alpha Anthology did. Games like this shouldn’t be just about giving the best versions of everything. They should be more like encyclopedias of the series.
That would be pretty neat. Also what might be neat is something like Hyper Street Fighter II where you can pick among all the different revisions. Vanilla MK3 Sub-Zero vs. UMK3 Human Smoke, etc. But all of this should be separate. I wouldn’t want to sacrifice the unadulterated arcade versions. If there is an enhanced game like that it should be there in addition to the basic HD-ified arcade games.

in that case, call it the arcade era and get MK4 on there, and add The Grid as a special hidden game.
VMK3 Sub is absurdly broken. That wouldnt be a fair matchup. 
Don’t get me started. I’ve been begging for a home version of The Grid for years even if it would be a little gimped without the stick+trackball setup.

MK1-MK3 characters are confirmed to be in…so pretty much everyone there is correct.
I dont think boon would let that happen without his permission. He has not said that that “confirmed” list is wrong. Don’t be so quick to throw it away because of the word expected.
