Lol, if you hadn’t noticed, Lisbon, Ohio is in the middle of Bumfuck, Egypt. It wasn’t even meant to be an attack towards anything. Pretty much, I can understand because in those particular circumstances, it’s the same way for me. Sorry for stepping on your sensitive-ass toes.

It’s still pretty bad for me, even something as simple as launching into Jade’s Xray was nearly impossible due to the lag.
I was talking about server matchmaking, not the game’s netcode. The game still has trouble, but it seems like it’s not taking so long to pit players together anymore.
There hasn’t been any. Matchmaking is no different now as then.

The game will still have the same amount of delay before a patch. Even with a patch, I’d be surprised if there were improvements in input delay. All we can rely on now would be better matchmaking and probably koth.
I really hope they do something about the massive input delay, since I cannot even play with people from my own country. It´s a damn shame since I really like the game and there is no offline community where I live to speak of.

wow!! i was finally able to complete rank match last night! hooray! seems to be luck though. because when i tried searching again, 10 mins later… it was still searching… this is shit.
Every time I see an “I don’t get any lag online, it must be your connection” comment it just makes me wonder how retarded some people are. Really, I’m not one to go calling uninformed people names but come on… This is something that’s common sense. How can you not feel delay between when you do something and when it happens on screen and on top of that go and tell people it’s there connection. Is it just pure ignorance because what they’re doing online works? I’m guessing that has to be the case and those people are probably the reason why online play in most games is still so terrible to this day.
I just posted this because I was browsing some random forums and seen this thrown around a lot. The mvc3 runs perfect for me comments also made me want to throw up.
Seriously bro? I thought I was lucky because I’m in Los Angeles, and pretty much wrote this thread off as a venting pulpit for boondockers. While there is light lag, the game has been very much playable to me. I’m not contesting that this is as smooth as silk, because I have been the victim of 1 sec input delay here and there, but for the most part, 10-15 hit combos have been doable, and pretty much everything is blockable. There’s lads with over a 1000 matches on their belt, so it’s not devoid of playability.
I don’t really see how this is any different from the statement NRS released about a week ago, though.
