Mixup, anyone, got any mag/cyclops strategies and BnBs?
I just c.lk c.lk w/ cyc into fierce dash down fierce RH c.RH. Nothing else I’ve tried has come across as more useful or executionally reliable. Sometimes I skip the RHs if I don’t think I’ll get the c.RH to connect.
You can infinite off of Cyclops assist.
Okay, I just started playing Marvel a week ago.
I use Mag-A, Cable-B, Cyclops- B
I can do the ROM on Sentinal all the time, and most times VS regular sized characters.
I know the basics somewhat ,but I want to get more in depth.
Ideas?
Im not sure exactly what I want to know.
EDIT: Also, Im not a total noob at this game. I played it when it first came out for about 2 years after. Then I quit for about a year and a half. I just started getting back into it. So I still remember all the old school basics im pretty sure.
There’s only one that I know of.
Its just a pressure combo i think.
cr. short x2 +Cyclops aaa, sj behind them RH, after that, you do that thing where he throws those green blades.
You can still air dash after this.
Thats all i know
Tempest into time flip is semi safe, and Magneto should fight to get meter instead of to kill.

Don’t play Mag/Cyke, but here are a few things:
Mag/Cyke unmashable is something like launch, rh, ad d/f, lk, lk, j. lk+Cyke, fierce, ad u/f, tempest. Kind of wishy washy because it’s pretty easy to miss it and if you do, you’re fucked because you’re out in the open and in normal jump mode without a safe dhc.
Easier corner unmashable is fierce throw, land, launch + cyke, sj. tempest.
Like Dasrik said, probably best just to build meter for cable, so make sure you can ROM consistently on all characters.
Pokes, the team you are learning is my main team that I’ve been playing for well over 2 years. I just thought I’d ask in here to see if things have changed in other places with that team but anyway if sometime I meet you at ctf ill share some stuff I know and basic strats and all that good stuff…

Nah I can’t go, starts to early for me, so that is why I went tonight.
I got a handfull of wins with mag/cable/cyke I even came within 5% of a sentinel of beating infinite with it … But i could share some basic strats here but its late since I just got back from ctf and I am beat…
But really the team is just a counter-team that holds its own when it’s not… uh…countering… So I’d really have to show you some stuff and what the team beats and how…

basic but i never really worked on this stuff until brandon from jacksonville showed me how effective it is.
vs mag
against fk triangle jump dash in c.lk,c.lk+assist, pushblock the fk go to neutral and throw into assist as mag gets close. the throw is VERY hard to time with the assist, pretty easy without. nasty duo’s… sentinel/ironman storm/psylocke cyclops and i’m trying to figure out an angle to use for storm/sent death cheeze but no luck yet.
either i use the throw or you can use the gc to do early high as the opponent dashes in.
all of that shit can get really easily countered if the person knows what you’re up to.
It’s just some early ideas and stuff, guard cancel is retarded

I did some screwing around with my team and was trying to find an easier way to do some high damage combos or infinites.
BH on point, with OR throw assist
Any random Hk demon that hits usually translates into the infinite with this combo. As soon as any demon hits, throw out the assist to grab him. (mashable if on ground, but it requires a lot of speed) Then, before OR throws him up, sj.Hk demons to a predetermined location of where you think he’ll throw him.(It gets predictable where he throws) And that will put them in perfect infinite position. With most characters except the v. large ones, you can do 2 types of infinites:
Classic infinite with the Sj, hk, backdash, hk (works on all)
Jump infinite(non-large) j back, hk, dash f.
I find the reg jump to be slightly easier, and if you catch your opponent not mashing towards the end, you can Launch into
Hp demon—Judgement day.
With a 3 supers while bouncing or 1 super after they land, its around 98% damage.
check this out mike (or a magneto expert)…how do you cancel a blocked c.rh into a block or another c.rh, don’t say it can be done, i’ve done it on accident before, and there has to be a way to do it. i’ve heard that WK can do the same thing but with storm’s c.lp into an unblockable tri jumped lk UNLESS its pushblocked…just some knowledge, hope somebody knowledgable hits me back
you can only do that when there is an active threat on the screen, crouch a cable gunshot, then suki cancel that shit w magneto and do 2 slides, erik can do 3 and then follow up.
the same idea could be applied to alot of other situations, using the blockstun first is a sick idea(wk is gross:eek: )
you can practice using that ruby heart glitch(the one that sends the ghost underground to hang out lol)

both teams have the same problem, mag on point, then cable in the back with either assist.
cap or tron aren’t going to do much when they get snapped in, thats why r-o-w is my hero, dope shit. sentinel is way better:D
i would say MCC is better, but thats just because I’m pretty sure cable/tron will never really be good in this game. You know how your cable/cap holds shit down. sentinaaaaallllll ate the bullets
