Anywho, been playing a shit-ton of MvC2 lately. I think Modok/xxx/Dante is going to work pretty similar to Team Scrub, so I’ve been giving them a lot of play lately. I’ve got it for both PSN and XBL, so hit me up. I know ido’s already wanting to take a huge chunk out of me, or whatever’s left after Visionfreemind handed me my tailfeathers tonight.

They’re holding some small tournament here at MSU but no SSF4, just tekken6 and blazblue
EDIT: The poster I read said the 13th/14th, registration starts at 11am in butler hall.

Yeah, they put up some fliers in random locations on campus, and have a big poster in the Comp Sci Building, and that’s about it, I can’t find a mention of it anywhere from any of the associated clubs on their respective websites either. I’ve got no idea who’s running the tournament or what, I was just surprised to see a fighting game tournament here. I’ll go look at it again tomorrow.
It sort of feels like I could go out tomorrow, learn Blaz Blue in a day, and go run over some people there.
That’d be w00tsick who is organizing the tournament. He’s posted about it before, at least in the TN thread. I can’t make it, but good luck “running over” him at BBCS.

Hah, like I said, I didn’t even know there was any sort of scene here other than smash, halo reach, and SC2.
Lack of a scene, I think. Tekken makes sense since Tupelo is Tekken country (at least it was when I lived there), and w00t and his crew have started a healthy BBCS scene at MSU. Or it could just be that he doesn’t want to go up against you or your brother again.
