Yo Mississippi, Red September 2 will be held on September 11, 2010 for those of you who plan to attend it. Also I propose this at the tourney, we have two separate pots/games of SSF4 to see who is the best here in the state. It will be team 662 vs team 601 vs team 228. We have some great players across the state but we don’t know who exactly is better among us all so I say why not do it that way at Red September 2. So we shall do a pot where as everyone that attends and plays SSF4 and then another one where only MS players play within it and we do a winner take all for the MS players in that pot but that’s just my opinion on things so I was your feedback on this as well. Also the following games will be at Red September 2:

  1. SSF4
  2. STREET FIGHTER 3 3RD STRIKE
  3. STREET FIGHTER 2 HD REMIX
  4. TEKKEN 6
  5. MARVEL VS CAPCOM 2

All games will be on the PS3 system except for 3rd strike seeing that its on the PS2, get at me people and give me your feedback on this…

  3. Why 3S? I thought no one showed up for that last time.
  4. No Blazblue? I thought that had a decent turnout? I’ll run a side-tournament if not.

I won’t completely rule out making it to Red September II, but it’s looking unlikely right now.

Last call for our ARK II tournament in Conway, AR on July 31st. We are hosting tournies in Super Street Fighter 4, Tekken 6, Melee, Brawl, BlazBlue: CS, HDR, TvC, and a Mystery Game tournament! Our last tournament had over 70 players from five different states with a total prize pool of over $1000. This tournament is looking to be bigger and better than the last one! We already have some a lot of gamers coming in for each of our games and we’d love to have even more come to win some money or have a good time.

Just finally admitting to myself that I don’t really like the game. I was always more of a serious Tekken player, and recently TvC (which will convert to MvC3 when that comes out). I just like faster paced games.

So Brett… I just found out a lot of the hardcore GGAC players in Memphis have migrated to MBAA, so there might be a decent scene here starting soon. I’ll have to let you know if we do anything so you can come up and crash on my couch.

Yeah dude, we spoke briefly after the tournament. Do you guys ever play any friendlies or anything sometimes? Someone mentioned that there were some friendlies going on on Sundays but I lost the guys number cause my phone got messed up.

I didn’t know that there were even a new blazeblue out, that’s why I need feedback from you people so yeah we can throw that in and 3rd strike out if not enough people sign up for it. Duck get in touch with everyone from north ms and keep them updated about RED SEPTEMBER 2 so hopefully they will showup.
