Well duck… I’ve been playin Super for about 2 weeks now. it got a little better. i have actually won a lot of fuckin matches… my new view on the game is…
THIS GAME IS FUCKIN TERRIBLE! I dont know what it is. its so rock,paper,scissors its unreal. How did this game get popular? Why this over blazblue. Its like EVERY match I play my moves are ALWAYS out of range. yet of course the shoto characters can do SO MUCH, reach me no matter where I am. Their not even my main complaint against the game, they just come to mind. haha FUCK THIS… mvc3. Ok after this one you shouldnt hear anymore I hate ssf4 outta me.
lol you need practice and lots of it, you can’t just pick this game up and be good at it… people played this game since vanilla…
That’s fine… I’m really just lookin for people off base to hang out with, so I have a reason to explore the area.
How’s the tournament scene here? Who’s the best? Do y’all just play online?
Tournament scene here isn’t all that great . We held a ranbat at one point in September from Cyberlinx and it did got completed , but due to last minute bs with fees and issues being layed out , future ranbats has been discontinued until any further updates from the original manager that went to travel .
We play online sometimes over at XBL but not a lot . We have casuals sometimes but last time we had it was like months ago .

I’m not sure who’s really running it, I suppose the people that work there are putting it on. I got some information from the guy and he said it’s:

Tourny starts at 5:00
25$ fee
BYOC
*No Turbo
Double elimination, best 2 out of 3
Winner must keep his character but can switch ultras, Loser can switch characters/ultra
That’s really all I know, I apologize if any of this is wrong but that’s what I was told and I’m pretty sure that’s the way it’ll be. Anyone interested should come out, should be good fun

edit: from what I understand there’s no pre-register discount; straight $25, thats for venue and tournament fee. They also said there’s a $5 fee for anyone that wants to spectate.

That’s WAY too much, they are out of their mind. Its going to end up just like their call of duty tournament lol and end up going out of business like play n trade in gulfport.
We might as well make our own ranbat and rent their tv so it would cost half compare to their venue fee…

I was going to get that, but 1) I’m broke, 2) I didn’t think it’d get that big here, 3) No one in my scene plays it anyway, and wouldn’t get it for reason #2, and 4) I didn’t want to learn a new game just before MvC3 dropped.
