Yeah man. I’ll probably be busy as hell this next week with stick mods, Thanksgiving, and a huge school project that I’m behind on but we do need to play again.
Rod – Good shit as Jas’s place, huh? Definitely gotta bring some more Jackson guys (Ido, Ricky, EC, Vision – I’m looking at you) because you’re right – Memphis got some comp.
Shuma and Jill as launch-day DLC is bullshit. However, I WILL find a way to get 1200 MS points (or however much they’re gonna cost) for free and not have to pay actual money for them.
And I WILL be playing Shuma in MvC3, even though I still don’t understand why the hell he came back. Comics-wise, even die-hard comic fans don’t know who the hell he is. Video game wise, the only VS game he wasn’t completely awful in was MSH.
This is a character with almost literally no fans 
His Chaos Dimension better be hype as fuck now. I’m gonna be mad if he still does that dumb-looking swirly thing while Dormammu’s lvl 3 looks like he is crushing your existence.
But I like Shuma…I use the hell out of him on MvC2. Not like I’m good at the game or anything.
I like him too. I’ve liked ever since old-school MSH. The character, both gameplay and especially story-wise is pretty cool.
It’s just… why? It’s not fanservice of any kind. Some guy on the Capcom team must be a massive Shuma fanboy or something.
Some of the character choices are chosen on gameplay style, and not just popularity. How popular do you think Madok is? Or Dormmamu?

I just wanted to stop by and post. I’m new to the fighting game scene. I really want to start playing SSF4 competitively, but I quit since I didn’t know anybody around here. If anybody wants to completely stomp on me my Xbox GT is Howdoom. I’m up for any tips or tricks. I’m open minded to anybody. I also play Starcraft II.

awesome week…i got arrested for being in association with drunk people this thanksgiving…but Mu-12 made it all better when i got out of county lol…
Gran Turismo 5 sucking + COH guild drama + next COH update being disappointing = may get back into the scene for real this time, if I can finally force myself to get any enjoyment out of SSF4.
How about just getting into a game you may enjoy more this time? I know you like Melty, so you like faster-paced games. Try getting more serious in Marvel. 360 or PS3, I’ll play with you anytime.
It’s honestly not worth trying to get into any fighter other than SSF4 around here.
I hate to admit it, but it’s true.
MvC2 has great netcode, and MvC3 is coming out in three months. The scene will explode after that. Jackson and New Orleans both had a great MvC2 scene in its time, and they’ll get huge once MvC3 hits. It’s especially getting hype in Memphis.
I can promise this game will be around for at least five years.
And mortal kombat is right around the corner!

On a side note Im hosting a Madden 2011 tourney on December 11,2010 if anyone on here knows anyone who plays the game and wants to attend it. Its gonna be at the same place as Red September was in clinton ms.
Cinderslam 2 is gonna be off the chain!!! We gonna have a Great line up of games there. Games like the new MK, MvC3, SSF4, Tekken 6, and I’ve actually had people to ask me to put the new naruto in there(dont know bout that).
