out of everything you have to experience in your life, hope you never have to deal with a) child birth (duh) and b) supporting a friend who just had an abortion @@. a close friend of mines girlfriend from mentor who i havent talked to in roughly a year and a half called me today at 10:00am and wanted to talk…big mistake ><. long story short, lots of crying and even more yelling at herself about how she screwed up…ugh.

If somebody came to me for support like that, I would have been pretty mean in a way. Said straight up that they made a mistake and to stop cying about it. Tell her its out of the way now, learned a valuable lesson, adn there’s no more to it.

I had one friend that needed me to take her to get an abortion. Not good… not good. I really didnt want to take her but honestly I was the only person she was kinda close with that had a car. She wasnt about to tell her parents either cuz she would literally be dead. So yea i know what your talking about. Its a rough thing to deal with. Its good that you helped her though. Even if you said nothing at all, honestly it makes a huge difference for that person. Not to mention its just an insanely nice thing to do for somebody through a really hard time, even if you think they actually DID fuck up or didnt care about what was going on.

My three closest friends are women so I’ll give you advice from experience. They’re not interested in anything you have to say. They’re interested in having someone listen to what they have to say. Your only job is to sit there and throw in just enough key words to keep them venting until they’re all done. After it’s done you’ll be a hero and have done very little. This is the way of the hurting woman, be wise to heed my advice.

BTW, that’s what I would do… but lately I’ve just been mean, and told them straight up. Sometimes it helps them more, and they know it too.
Ya i had that experience with my friends younger sister before. It was so horrible because the hitting it option wasnt even there. One day I lost it and told her off saying i was sick of hearing her shit.
