I used to have casuals every now and again with friends, which was easy since we all lived fairly close to another. We still do, but since I’ve moved out, it’s a longer drive for me to get to our usual place. I figured I’d try hosting some casuals here, now that I’ve pretty much got my place set up to be liveable and if it’s possible, set it up to be a weekly thing on a certain day.
Now, I’m just checking to see if there’s enough interest and work from there. My intent is to have an open place for sauga casuals for people new to the community and havent had a chance to make acquaintances with the sauga regulars. I know there are some out there who`d love to play offline but are not comfortable with or have the time to commute to A&C. Making the commute shorter would hopefully drag some of you out into the open. With that said, here are the details:

Where : Burnhamthorpe and Hurontario (map), 20 minute walk from SQ1 bus terminal
When : ??? (interested parties should post on the preferred day of the week. Time would be around 6pm-12am)
Parking: There’s free parking along the curb, but there`s only a few spots depending on time of day. Also free parking in the building but you have to check-in at the entrance as a visitor.
Setup :
- 1 x PS3 (P4A, UMvC3, SFxT, SSF4:AE)
- 1 x TE Stick
- 2 x Monitors (one 55" with about a frame of input lag, one 19" with maybe the same, i don’t know for sure)
(an extra xbox setup w/ 2 sticks may be possible. Jon, if you’re reading this, let me know if its cool with you since you live across the street)
Notes:
- My dog stays over on some days, so must not be allergic to dog hair.
- I only have enough space to seat 6 people comfortably.
- It’s a condo unit so noise levels need to be kept in check (anything below shouting should be fine)
