What time does Ranbats start this weekend?
Info is posted on the front page of www.mnstreetfighter.com. The RanBat starts at 6:30pm this coming Saturday, May 29th. You can show up anytime after 6:00pm, and we’ll probably start the first matches at about 7:00pm.
There will be no entry fee for this RanBat and thus no monetary prizes. For future RanBats, this may not always be the case, but I’ll always keep any entry fees fairly small ($5 or less) when we have them.
What are the expected games so far?
For this one, just SSF4.
Is there a player limit for the ranbat? My bro and I are looking to enter it.
First ranbat ever that I’ll be missing. Memorial weekend is a tough one for me. Got plans. Good luck everyone!
You better be able to go disciple, I really wanna go to more sf tourneys D: <
Nope, no limits. You and your brother are welcome to come up and join us.
I can’t, I have to work that weekend.
unfortunately me too
Hey Songo…play me sometime? I’m not that good so don’t expect much. I was that guy, during the Meltdown, with the bulky custom joystick and my little son was with me…(LOL I remember you saying he was going to be the next Daigo…)
I’ll probably be on PSN later tonight for those that want to get a good sized endless room going…granted we can all join!
Will be on SSF4 all this week training. I’m rusty after just three days off the game…:nono:
Anytime man! just add MyBaseball on PSN and I’ll invite you.
Good because Feurte won’t be so frustrating for me
You should come this weekend…I think you already are.
BOO THIS MAN
I think I recognize your son. Didn’t he play in the Smash Tourney and used Pit? He was pretty good. I “might” be getting a copy of smash again from my friend sometime, so if your son is the dude I’m referring to tell him I’d love to play sometime, esp if I’m going to start up again.
Boo the Shogun for scheduling it over such a busy weekend!
I don’t pay much attention to when holidays fall anymore. Plus since SSF4 came out, I think this is the first weekend where there wasn’t something else video game-related going on that same weekend.
Yeah, me three, but for reasons I already expressed in the past…
i finaly chose who my second charcter is so next tournment i have a little suprise,Mwhahahahhahaha!!!
Sorry for not responding earlier. I havent played with XBL yet but if you have a moderate NAT type, chances are that you are connecting to someone that has a strict NAT type. Here’s a Microsoft link explaining that NAT types. Chances are, you are trying to connect to someone with a strict NAT type.

Make sure that you have enabled uPNP on your router if you haven’t already.
One more thing to check that applies to both PSN and XBL is that you are not connecting your router to another router. Unfortunately, some DSL providers ship modems w/integrated routers. Because of this, you are actually translating your private address range (192.168.x.x) to another private address range before finally routing out a public IP. That’s not a problem for internet use but for inbound connections (port forwarding), you’ll have issues. If your modem is also a router, see if you can make it a strict layer 2 device and pass the public IP address to your router. What model router and modem do you have?
You may also have an ISP that is blocking specific UDP or TCP ports causing problems. If you find that to be the case, you could find another ISP.
Unfortunately, there is no way you can control other players connections and any service that requires direct peer to peer communication (bidirectional) will have problems. The only way to provide a reliable connection would be to connect outbound only to a server that manages the connection.
