Huge thanks to everybody that supported the tourney today. Shoutouts to everybody that brought setups and traveled from out of town. Huge thanks to Jake for bringing the laptop and running brackets. Was really cool to meet new people and Ultimate and AE finals were HYPE! Results are here and I will be posting the grand final match vids of AE and Ultimate soon.
I wanted to say Thank you to the fine folks I met yesterday at Romine’s, it was my very first MVC tournament and everyone I met seemed genuinely welcoming and nice. Hopefully I’ll be able to see most/all of you again another time!

I’m uploading the Grand Finals from AE and UMVC3 right now. The first 2 1/2 mins of AE are really rough but it gets better. This was my first time recording match vids on my iPhone so excuse the poor quality please. I just started a YouTube page it’s footmeetsskull1 on there. If you all could sub me that would be great I plan on recording tons of match vids from tourneys and Tuesday Night Fights.

Mmm haggar. Yeah they never fixed the stupid dropouts on rapid fire fist, but at least it’s a big invincible now and does more damage? 
Seemed like frankie just wasn’t patient enough against that team.
And yeah, youtube vids can now be 15 minutes for everyone, and they eventually upgrade people to unlimited as long as they don’t have any copyright violations. Those sf figurines on the cab are a very nice touch too.

If its not AE or Marvel people don’t want to play it. Sad but true. It would also be nice if people that play the game showed up. People here like the game and have been playing but we were missing pretty much everyone that plays the game at the tourney. Seriously, people support your games otherwise they will die.
if your game doesn’t have enough shit on the screen to give 5 year old’s seizures then its not worthy of a competitive game.

Yeah, it’ll take some time till it’ll flag you to go unlimited. As for the exact criteria I have no idea.
As for underrepresented games, maybe have a one-time free/no-buy-in tourney to at least get people to play it? No reason for people not to try it if it’s there with nothing at stake. Then they might get more interested in the game. Of course it may not solve the problem with turnout for the people who do play it, but couldn’t hurt otherwise (aside from tournament organizing headaches).
