No point in playing wc3 dota now. Starcraft 2 has the most money in it but will end up costing $180 for all the games and has the highest learning curve. League of Legends is free to try at least and is pretty fun. Right now I just play MVC3, but I can warm back up to the recents like BB, Tekken 6, or SC4. I also can go back to SF4 but that game is so depressing sometimes.
I’m also planning on playing ridiculous amounts of KOF13 once it comes out. As far as games go in general, I play almost everything.
You live literally down the street from Dooku and myself, we’re over in High Point Commons across from the theater, call / text me at 608-669-6138 and I can send you our address or you can send us yours and either just me or both of us can come over, our place is a little messy though. We play Marvel, BB, and AH3 and I play SF4. There are also a few other Marvel players relatively close it’s the second largest game in Madison outside of Melee. We can play later today or basically anytime this weekend just get back to me whenever.
The only reason I’d see playing WC3TFT DotA right now is to prep for DotA 2.
As for Starcraft 2, the 2nd game hasn’t even dropped yet (they just got around to announcing the new changes). The third game is probably 1-2 years off after that. Cost should not be a matter unless you suddenly decide to start entering majors. If you want to start learning some of the concepts, get in now while Wings of Liberty is winding down, but be ready to start fresh when Heart of the Swarm drops.
League of Legends is ok, but I prefer DotA more.
With the way the work is looking, I plan on being back in Milwaukee either next week or the following week.
