I’m usually glad to see new fighters out, but these doujin games get churned out almost as fast as hentai games and give you that same guilty feeling of lonliness after you play them.

I didn’t follow BBB much after the initial release, what was so bad about it? I mean, I didn’t really like it too much, but it didn’t seem bad to me. I heard they fixed super hater in patches.
As far as I know the game wasn’t really that bad as far as the fun factor, but rather it was just fucking around until someone landed a hit and then GGPO for the other person.
Kind of like HnK is when I watch it played, but with shittier graphics.

BBB was a damned good game, to be developed by just a few people. Stop the hate in '08. It’s getting damned retarded, now. And I rather like the designs. Different = good, in my opinion. And I do indeed get a Persona 3 vibe from the art. That’s a fucking + right there. It very well may BE the same artist/designer.

I played BBB when it came out, and I was part of probably the ONLY actual tournament that game had (held in my room at Evo East).
That game had NO depth to it at all, and the patches fucked it really hard.
It was definitely over hyped.
That was partially my fault. I went to loc tests and it was actually a lot of fun, so i was spreading the word, but after it came out and they didnt tweak it, and a ton of broke stuff was found, it lost all it’s credibility. And then the patches, as people said, ended up screwing it up by changing around a ton of stuff randomly, and too quickly to adapt to it all the time.
And Folo is a dude, but i dont really care. Ill try him and Nobuko and whoever i like better ill use.
There’s a shitload of games I enjoy playing, that lack LOL “TOURNEY DEPTH”.

Blitzkampf was also developed by a few people, but it’s actually good. ‘Few people’ isn’t a good excuse for bad ideas.
How about “it was their first game” excuse? Play Akatsuki Shisei Ichigou and see if it’s good (it’s not).
BBB was fun and not much else.
It’s not hating to dislike a game that didn’t reach it’s potential.
I think Kakuto Chojin could have been one of the greatest last generation console fighters ever, but it wasn’t finshed. I can’t tell people they’re hating because they think it’s shit.
Xenozip listed the reasons why BBB wasn’t very good.
Get over it, hopefully this game will be better.

Blitzkampf is the third one in the series, I believe. I didn’t play the first, but the second was terrible. Aka ruled EVERYONE.

BBB was garbage. I played it since the demo’s release and it was just awful. I have little faith over this game. I hope it’s good so I can play another no-name worthless doujin fighter.
Are you certain? I was fairly sure that there was one version before Akatsuki. A version that only had 3 characters and not 4.
