I think he is falling off the charts.
He isn’t ranking so high in tournaments, and doesn’t pump out the podcasts so much.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Ryan as a friend, he’s a great guy to hang out with.
It’s just that people should spend their own free time getting good at the games, like a lot of us did since day 1 instead of riding his nuts and having him teach everything in the game.

Yeah I still think it’s funny how you guys rag on me. I didn’t bother reading your responses… the people who were nice on here messaged me on xbox live and emailed me tips… THANKS! To the crap talkers, I’m trying to get more girls into SF4… don’t you care? Male dominated sport and you’re scaring away all the girls with your shit talk. Really, this game is great and EVERYONE should play it. I wish you guys would stop being jerks for two seconds and realize I came to you for help because I was told you were all well respected gamers, I didn’t expect you all to act otherwise.
I’d also like to add that gootecks came to me… I didn’t go to him. I’m dropping a game that I can easily dominate 99.8% of the players in the WORLD on and picking up Street Fighter… that should mean something to you guys… but it obviously doesn’t. You all don’t know what it’s like to have your life and career revolve around one game and decide to give it all up for the betterment of a community. I’m trying to HELP the SF4 community, and you’re just shutting me out. I don’t get it. 
I wish you luck, but your first lesson from gootecks should have included something about everyone on SRK being an asshole. Grow a thick skin and deal with it.
I’m sorry, I sincerely regret all the negative energy that my fellow forum members have caused you. You have my deepest condolences. It is wise to understand the history of a scene, lest you get bitten through a naive judgment.
The only people who post regularly on SRK outside of the tourney, EVO and matchmaking sections that are actually reputable players are djfrijoles, DS, Sabin and Shinblanka. Everyone else who rags on newcomers is either some random who think that they represent the fighting community, AKA the guys who stand behind the actual tournament players and eat Hawaiian BBQ, or just trolling you because they don’t even stand behind the actual tournament players and placed Top 16 in an online tourney once. Just go to tourneys, laugh at the online shittalkers and realize that you aren’t going to be a top player even remotely soon even with thousands of hours of practice. ENTER THE DERAIL, YJDK, GDLK!
Hey good luck new Street Fighter player. I don’t think being good at rote memorization is a terribly useful predictor for whether you’ll be good at 21st century speed chess, but I hope you pick it up quickly and well. No hate. But I hope you’ll understand if the fact that you have a chromosome arrangement that is unusual here is not super important to me. Go into the character specific SF4 forums, you’ll find people who are nice and willing to help you out over in those parts.
