   I really dont see how money matches hurt the community, however, I do feel that some money matches are a waste of time. But if you've ever lost a close match or even a match that you feel you didnt play your best and then winning a money match can wash some of that bad taste out of your mouth. Again wanting another shot at someone you lost to doesnt sound like something that hurts the community but hey everyone is entitled to thier own opinion.

Didn’t he have a uh… Fight a pro thing at barfights? Where you pay to play one of the guys, and if you win you would get 500, but he wouldn’t let anyone known play just the newbies. Obviously makes sense as to not have to pay out but yeah just throwing this out there.

Money matches don’t hurt the community. Infact I think that it makes EVO that much more exciting. Its the same thing as putting some money on Pacquiao vs Hatton except we have Watson and Gootecks. If Ryan doesn’t want to bet his own money, I’m sure he has some fans out there that would take him based on his performance at Final Round and for the fact that he is on the So Cal SF4 team and Watson isn’t. The number of responses and views to this thread show that this is definitely something the community would want to see at EVO. But we haven’t heard from Gootecks yet so who knows…
