Wonder if there’s any chance he can get the IP from Capcom. Legends 3 would be nice, and down the road we could even get some MN9/MM crossover game or something.

No this nigga Inafune did not make a Dragonball reference… I am convinced he lurks on SRK.

A wish to Shen Long would be about the only way to save the Mega Man franchise at this point…

Inafune is the greatest man in the history of gaming. I hold him on the same level as Shigeru Miyamoto.

Inafune can fuck my bitch.

Sorry for the bump, don’t mean to piss anyone off who’s dying for Mighty No.9 info but I didn’t know where this should go.

I recently discovered Rockman Minus Infinity.

And after some searching I managed to find the complete rom (which is a little harder then you’d think to find, you’d think the rom would be easily available because it’s a hack of a 20 year old game and Capcom is pretty fair when it comes to fan games) and I really like it so far. It’s radically different compared to every Megaman game out there and I’m including the fangames. The boss fights get fucking nuts and even though most of them seem to be won through attrition (I.E. you’re just going to take damage no matter what but you just have to stay a step ahead of the boss) but the interesting thing about this game is that pretty much every weapon is OP. Every boss weapon is like the 8 directional saw blade from Mega Man 2 +10. And once you get one or two of them it becomes really clear that you NEED them in order to survive.

This is what I want from Mighty No.9 something radically different, with rewarding combat, and no reliance on a boss order.

Holy shit that Bright Man stage hack is GDLK! We need that in MN9 lol. Also is that ninja star throwing boss hacked? That attack pattern seems really fucking hard to beat even for a MM game.

Minus Infinity looks gdlk, but fuck the broad in that video. Annoying as shit.

Those two people are so annoying.

Slow Beef is annoying? First I’ve heard of this. The girl doesn’t add too much though.

So Comcept released some new footage on Mighty No. 9…the nostalgic feels.

I like the screens in the background in the fight with the water boss (forgot which MN he is).

So I wonder when we are going to see some transformation gameplay. Granted the MMX style gameplay is hot fire but Keji was promising a bit more.

Not a fan of Minus Infinity. Too many “takes 30 bazillion shots to kill” stomper mobs, and too many areas where it’s clear the dev was the only tester. And the music is actually really shitty, for the most part, not to mention said shitty music replaces one of the series’ most underrated soundtracks in Megaman 4.

Will definitely try to pick this up for both 360 and PS3.

It’s awesome to see this come out for so many platforms too; Capcom fans usually have to beg and plead for a non-console port of anything. Comcept is godlike.

After all the money that was poured into this project, it better come out on every platform available.

I like how for years Capcom stated the Mega Man formula was dated and stale, but this game is a unique take on that, yet still does its own thing.

As hyped as I am for MN9, I’m even more hyped for Azure Striker, the lightning rod game play looks so good. Anyways the dash in MN9 seems very similar to the dash in Ghost Song.

I just want my damn copy of M#9 already… Don’t need to see anything else lol.

How do you guys feel about this “Red Goddess” game? I’m liking what I’m seeing…

“You play as Divine, the titular red goddess of this love letter to action-adventure Metroidvania, who enters the world of her subconscious mind in order to find out what is destroying her from the inside. There she finds a hostile planet full of dangerous beings, and must use her two avatars–the fiery Nar and the ice cold Syn–to progress through her adventure.”
