This man is seriously crowdfunding his way to a 4 million dollar game that if profitable will net him over that amount and he didnt spend a single damn penny so he can potentially use the money to snowball it into sequels and merchandise to make it a legit franchise. Im extremely impressed

This game requires 1.3 extra million for PS3/WiiU/Xbox360 and 2.4 extra million for PS4/Xbox1 support?
Different teams, different routes of funding, different goals with the game.
It cost 300K to make a character in Skullgirls because of the shitloads of animation and they hire contracters to do it. It costs 30K to make a character in Yatagarasu because it’s being done by one guy and there’s not as many frames of animation.
It’s called hustling.
Make’s a lot of the good shit high priced bonus goals so people will throw money at him for it.
WayForward is an established development studio that’s been around for years while Comcept is just getting started. With the amount of contract work WayForward does they likely already have Xbone/PS4 dev kits.

Seriously guys, go support Shantae and Volgarr the Viking too… Mighty No. 9 is definitely gonna make its goals, but these other games need more word of mouth and support.

They are making. Not made. Comcept has no game that I am aware of that’s out in the wild generating some revenue for the company.
Also a lot of this money is going to the numerous teams (the guys helping with the campaign for instance and Inti Creates) and not just the core staff from Comcept backing this project.
Not to mention all the goodies being produced, the documentary, etc.
Comcept is one of three developers on that game. Team Ninja And Spark Unlimited being the other two.
