I really hope that basic ass Mario Maker level isn’t representative of MN9, but like most of you I don’t have much hope for it living up to its early promise of being a great mega man-esque game.

I don’t know what’s more sad the fact that this game is being delayed several times after Inafune milked his fan base dry or that some of the people who were originally interested in this game refuse to try any of the modern platformers that actually delivered everything as promised in a timely fashion and didn’t need millions of dollars to do it.
MN9 has a lot of money and a lot of bullshit talk, but that’s it…it’s officially the Trump of gaming.
When this game does come out, it better be on point if theres anything wrong with it Keiji Inafune is done.

I kinda think he might already be done…Like I feel I was one of the most forgiving people in this thread (and the internet in general) when it came to this game and delays. I really didn’t give a flying fuck about the drama, I only cared if the game was good. But at this point it’s been delayed so many times and that even I just don’t really care anymore. I mean it’s just a Megaman spin off, it’s not like there’s a lack of these kinds of games to play, shit there’s not even a lack of actual Megaman games to play dudes got like fucking 80 of them. I’ve moved on to other stuff, and I think I’m so disinterested at this point that instead of buying it I’d rather just dig out the old SNES and MMX and just play that instead.

The point you were trying to express is true though. MN9 would have be an unbelievably good game. One of extraordinary proportions to break even with on faith with the public. I think the game will be a whole lot of fun, but it needs to be so insanely good to make people forget all the nonsense that happened.
I don’t think Inafune is done, he still has Soul Sacrifice to fall back on. I’m not even sure people know that is an Inafune franchise lol.
Idk… Soul Sacrifice may be fine, but Comcept is definitely fucked regarding new IPs unless they can pull a 180.
Soul Sacrifice is a Sony IP. Sony can shut him out if they want to.
Inafune still got ReCore on Xbone. We haven’t heard anything from it since the reveal.
Watch Red Ash get released before this game.
Considering the last update we got was end of January and the release is supposedly end of May…I have a feeling another delay is coming.
