Hey I was wondering what size Tvs you guys need and I migt be able to lend some out. But I will not be able to take them till Saturday. This would be my first tourney and as long as I get in the raffle and can spectate I’m all good.
Keits me and MN crew will be leaving @ 3am on sat, because we have people working on friday so… if all goes well we should arrive there around 9am-10amish… but if we were late, I will give Nives a call. Thanks!
If there’s a preference it’d be around 20-23", but bring what you can. What’s the soonest you can be at the hotel Saturday?

Well it’s been almost 6 months since I came over to see you in Des Moines, Grog. If you’re nice I’ll let you take $5 off me in an HDR money match. $10 if I’ve got a couple drinks in me.
As early as you guys need them. I would drop them off and go spectate later in the day. I could probably get 2 30"-35" crt tvs from work and 1 20". I’ll see what I can do.

Any size is fine. A TV is a TV. To be in the raffle you simply need to pay the full venue fee of 20 dollars, but you’ll get a 5 dollar rebate at the end if you lend equipment to the event all day saturday+sunday.

If you want the 5 dollar rebate, I’d drop them off saturday morning at before Noon. Preferably around 10am.

Ive just spoken to the hotel again, and for sure you can still book rooms by calling the number I just posted between 9am and 5pm CST up until the day of the event. Walk-ins will also be taken, so if you just go up to the desk and ask for a room in the MWC block, they will hook you up. We sold out our block twice, but the hotel has plenty of room left and will expand our block as much as needed to cover us. They love us!
I’ve never been to a SF4 tourney before so sorry for asking, but when you say no macros are allowed is that including or excluding 3 kicks and 3 punches? It is technically a macro but I know its on sticks too so I don’t know what the rule is for that.
Also even though I won’t be able to I encourage anyone to bring BB:CT for casuals since it’s not being run :).
Is anyone looking for one more for their room? Some things have fell into place with work to allow me to come this weekend. Willing to split 1/2 1/3 1/4 however many you want to pack into the room.
In-game controller button bindings are allowed. Programmable-Controller style macros are not allowed.

I was unsure if work would let me attend but I’m good to go now. Thank you for your efforts for keeping the hotel discount available. At work I called the 1-800 number and they said they were out, so I just reserved at normal price, but I just called reservations (operator gave me this number directly to Susan, 847-298-2525) and got me hooked up with a discount (the 1-800 operator apparently didn’t even load my reservation on file…). Got May 7-10 rooms.
Did we ever find out about the fight on Saturday?
