Puzzle Fighter will not be streamed, actually, as its not very spectator friendly IMO.
Give me a list of which characters are banned in 2k2um and ill add it to the rules.

if your thinking of adding banned characters to games you should ban akuma in puzzle fighter.
There is no reason to ban Akuma in puzzle fighter HDr.

In fact, if he comes, he’s taking home the trophy for Puzzle Fighter, whether Akuma is banned or not.

Also I thought of passing out fliers at my local gamestop(s) and stuff like that but I know nothing about PS. If there are any spirited adventurers out there bored and willing to make one it might be worthwhile to get the online warriors out there to a real tournament.
why akuma should be banned. For starters the fact that he receives 20% more is a hoax. Since he still damages at 100% his canceling is the same regardless of how much is sent his way. The 20% extra is not a factor in how much he can cancel. 2.) players can win just because they play as akuma. You don’t feel the pressure to widdle down you screen as precisely if akuma b/c of his drop pattern. Taking another top tier character, ken for example. If pushed against a wall and you have to destroy pieces just to stay alive. Ken will be countered easier because he drops just red as a base color. Ryu may alt. colors like akuma but his rows do not shift. So late game play is in akuma’s favor. Hsein-Ko varies in the middle like akuma but her sides are the same. There’s a soft ban against akuma amongst good online players for a reason. He’s only picked to sometimes help throw a mental momentum in your favor.

I’m not convinced that Akuma is good enough to be banned in PuzHD. Perhaps he is the best character, but thats not grounds for a ban. I’m going to need more evidence.
Specators are welcome, but if you wish to play in casuals (non-tournament gameplay), you will need to pay the Casuals-Only Venue Fee of 10 dollars to get a wristband. If you wish to be entered into the Raffle, you need to pay the 20 dollar venue fee.
