Well we cant charge OC students to enter tournaments and so far most of our tournaments at the Gamecage have been free to enter, so its free but a pot can’t be made. So normally you get some kind of goofy prize… like a kite or something (I totally won a kite playing Tekken6 lolz).
Somehow we get a lot of people to show up to most of the tournaments. The last Tekken6 tournament was good, a lot of people I have never seen showed up.

I used to run tournaments at Hastings in New Mexico. People paid $5 to enter and the prizes were split up 70/20/10, and we always had a pretty decent turnout (the town I was in at the time was about a third the size of Odessa). I can probably pull some strings out here if you guys want. I’ve never dealt with the store managers out here so there’s nothing promised, but… I’m sure we could get it going.

So if you want your stick modded, make sure you post up in our tourney thread so he knows whether to fly in or not (also first place gets a dual mod for free, so you can get it done right on the spot!).

My bad guys. I was frustrated last night about some other stuff and kinda blew the steam off here, which sucked of me. Believe me, I know firsthand it’s not always easy to just pick up and go.
