I think you might be the first midlandian we have had on the thread.
As for your friends not playing fighters you can now let them go because you now have new friends/enemies.
I highly suggest you make it to the next ranbats so you can join the scene here which surprisingly has grown quite a bit in the past 4 months or so.
On another note i assume the next ranbats is on the 25th… damn it. That is the same day as the tekken tournament here at OC. Ill post more info on the first post about that event soon. I guarantee at some point I will have a SSF4 tourney here at OC hopefully one this semester then again next semester.

Alright so we have a schedule issue. I’m sure it’s no problem to move the next ranbat to Sunday the 26th. It’s way easier for us to move our dates than for OC to move theirs.
I have also met a small group of people at OC that play SF. Apparently they have older cousins that went to evo, so they are no strangers to the game. They’ll be at the next ranbat.
I’ll edit this post later for info on the date change.
