Just heard about it. Spectre is far worse than original thought since it affect ALL computer tech from the last 20 years because of a the way processors are structured. the only know fix for it is to actually wait for an entirely new processor design. Like thats some super bad shit straight up.

Not really, with Spectre someone has to be at your PC, Meltdown can be done remotely.
It never occurred to intel to Encrypt the kernel memory, at least Arm and AMD put in a few extra steps.

Also the Meltdown OS fix will slow down Intel processors as much a 30% depending on the model of CPU.

Happy new year! Yeah, apparently my printer was never supported for Windows 10. Checked online, Lexmark had only driver support for Windows 8 which MS most recent update apparently stopped recognizing in the most recent Windows update. So the older printer will also be no good, checked that one was not supported either and I need a brand new printer.

u can get a brand new canon pima printer for 40 bucks on ebay.
you do drill holes in the ink containers for refilling ink like a reasonable fellow dont you? i hope so.

when i bought my first and only printer, a canon pixma, i wondered why a brand new printer would be sold so cheap by canon. then i did a few prints and ran out of color ink. needed a new ink cartridge, when i searched online for refills, then i realized how canon makes up the money for the loss in selling a printer for so cheap.
the ink cartridges cost 25 to 30 bucks.
so…

essentially you drill holes into your empty ink cartridges, refill the tanks with ink. and you just saved a bundle on never having to buy ink cartridges ever again.

when the ink cartridges are empty, the printer will of course tell you your ink cartridge is empty, once you drill holes and refill them with ink, the damn printer will still tell you the cartridge is low or empty on ink when its not, and refuse to work!
which is why you must do a hard reset on your printer to get it to work again. after the hard reset youll never have any “low on ink, buy new ink cartridge” messages ever again.
as for the drilling part…
if the ink cartridge contains all 3 blue, red, yellow colors in one cartridge as in the vid…you have to drill in the little circles that are on its top.
at around the 0:19 mark in the vids.
you’ll know which is the correct area for each color when your drill goes in, dips in, and youll see the color on the drill.
fill accordingly.
after drilling and refilling. put duct tape over it. when its time to refill again…youll pull the tape off and youll notice the color on the tape telling you where each color is located.

lame.

cuz i inserted ghost in the shell dvd ive had for years and…nada. couldnt figure out a way to get playback.
windows media player doesnt seem to recognize the dvd.
