Anyone up for gaming in Ann Arbor? It’ll be at a friends place and it’s open to whatever games, the whole bring your games/console dilly. If enough heads show, I’ll set-up a mock tourny.
Who’s able to make it to the midwest challenge on Presidents day weekend and wants to go?
That sounds pretty good, now that I know where the place is, i’ll definetly stop in more often.
That sounds pretty good, when/where at?
As for the midwest challenge, we’ll have to see =P.
Btw, had a lot of fun at the 3S tourney at Planet X yesterday, small turn out but it was fun nonetheless! It was great finally seeing your faces Grego and MoK! Any other forum goers show up?
Wow…it’s been awhile since I lurked here. I will reveal a portion of my next May tournament probably this Saturday. Rusty and Obot knows a small portion of what I’ll be doing, and some may feel that the changes will be somewhat extreme. But for those who really know me, it’s more like returning to my roots.
I was at the Ann Arbor Pinball Pete’s tonight, and as usual there was a small crowd at the CvS2 machine. There’s this one guy who works there and pretty much handed me a plate full of my ass with fries on the side, ten or twelve times.
Dude: if you are on here, let me know. You have earned the distinction of being the best CvS2 player I have ever gone up against.
Likewise, are any of the other CvS2 players who frequent the Ann Arbor Pete’s on here? I know one guy introduced himself as Adam.
The MSH machine has a busted fierce punch on the 1P side. It works, but it magically throws out a fierce at the most inopportune moments. And I think the small CvS2 machine is out of order, because there was tape across the coin slots. Oddly, the machine was still on.
That must be him. He played A-Vega, Rolento, Bison, and he fucking destroyed me. There’s nobody like him in the no-man’s land of East Lansing, where I usually play.
I don’t remember too clearly, but last time I was there (three weeks ago or something like that), he had Sagat on his team. I don’t remember him using Sakura at the time.
I don’t make it out to Ann Arbor too often (long ass drive), but I always make sure to stop into Pinball Pete’s there. There isn’t much in the way of competition in EL, so AA is always a learning experience.
yeah thats me sry i did’t get ur name but i did’t know u where on SRK and yes i do use Sakura just for VDO , i’m always up there on friday’s and saturday’s thats the day i work/play games
Cool, man. My name is Ken, and I figure everyone knows I was the guy in the white t-shirt playing like I had busted fingers.
I usually go to AA once every few weeks, on Saturdays. My friends like to go to Animania, and since they like to hit Pete’s afterward, I tag along with them.
That sucks. The retirement, not the job offer. But you know what they say: nobody ever really quits…
Yeah right, Rusty. I’m very busy myself, but I still manage to come down once a weekend. It’s a nice stress reliever next to work, school, and PMS issues.
Anyhow, congrats on the job offer! What will you be going into? Hopefully it ain’t a weekend gig (that’ll definitely screw up any game time). Hopefully, I’ll still see you around even after you start your new job.
i live in pntiac and i play super smash brother melle, if you decide to hold a tourney for that youll get ALOT of people in this area to come. just a heads up.
