Hit me up with a pm and well set something up for some 3s. You got somewhere to play?
We don’t really have anywhere we could play. We have a car though, so we could meet up with you somewhere. I’m not even totally sure yet if we’ll be able to play though. I’ll find out soon enough though.
We just brought a stick with us, do you have ps2 3s?
If your up for a drive you can probably come to my house for some games. How long will you be in the area? I got 3s on console and arcade. Hit me up with a pm for mo details.
HEY!
Sorry you missed FNG. Please come here to the Michigan forums @ MIG and register:
Here you can hook up with FNG as well as other michigan gamers…you can also keep track of events that you’ve missed.
Man what’s up with the Michigan tournaments? Let’s all just meet up somewhere, 'cause I can pretty much get to any city in MI, so what’s up??? I dont do that arcade jank…I play on Ps2. Lets bring our ps2 and stop trippin…I’ll even bring my ps2 man…
Ouch!
While I do agree and I apologize we never got any shit going, i’ve ran into some problems. Recently we lost our place and had to move, so finding a place to game is going to be tough.
If anybody has any open suggestions, i’m up for them. Unless we all want to sit and play in my small ass aparment (which i’m sure we don’t.)
Btw, Greco and Senator Ivy. I tried IMing you guys monthes ago but I never got a response?
Damn… For some reason i’ve been slipping and not checking this forum as often as I used to. If anyone wants to chat over AIM, hit me up, my aim is Victoriousboxer1. I’d really like to still get something put together.
By the way, if we can still get this session going, its going to be in the Pontiac/Oakland County area.
Once again i’m really sorry guys, i’ve had some major stuff going on and lifes just been hectic as hell (still no excuse for me not checking this forum though.)
Hey im OniRyus friend ive been to FNG once been to oakland a couple of times to play t5dr i really would like to get something going i know we have skilled people here in MI we all just have to get together we could learn some things from each other
I heard the T5DR sticks @ Oakland don’t work properly. Unfortunately, I’m more of a stick player instead of a pad player so I’d like those sticks to work correctly. If you are interested in playing T5DR, I suggest you try making it up to Pinball Pete’s in Ann Arbor. I don’t play much anymore, but I’d do my best to show up if you can make it.
Last time I was at Oakland was before DR was released, can’t you plug your own stick into the DR cabinets like you can with the original T5?
I think ShawnTackle said he’s been up at Pinball Pete’s before, Ann Arbor’s a drive for us but we’d probably be able to make it sometime.
It’s true that you can use your own stick, but the only stick I have is a MAS Stick. I’ve never carried it with me to the arcade before and most likely won’t in the future (too bulky and makes you look like a nerd carrying it around).
Sticks are most likely better at Pete’s than at Oakland (at the moment). Plus, there are two machines there: one machine is set to 50 cents start/25 cents continue. Good deal for those who aren’t that good and want to get more game for their buck.
The only con is that card readers aren’t working. Actually, 2P side card readers only have coins in them last I’ve been there, so you can either a) jam your card in until the reader recognizes the card or b) do a little bit of excavating and dig out those coins. If successful, the cards will fit properly in the slots and you’ll probably get a few quarters out of it too.
Just let me know whenever you or ShawnTackle visit. I only play Tekken unfortunately, but there are a few that play CvS2. (I believe they monitor this thread, but not sure).
Yeah i’ll talk to him about going up there. I haven’t played Tekken in a while but i’m always up for it if comp is available. We play CvS2 as well (how are the sticks there?)
Not sure. I suppose they are okay, but because I don’t play the game, I don’t have an accurate say in that.
What about some ST? I mean i’m down for some 3s and CvS2 but if you added ST then I would definetly be down.
I don’t normally play alot of ST (mostly because my friends aren’t into it.) But i’m always up for competition in almost anything. You live in Kalamazoo? Thats kind of a drive but maybe we can figure something out.
We’re still looking into a place to get everyone gathered, if anybody can help out feel free to PM me or ShawnTackle.
Is white lake in the U.P. or is it just way north. I’m just looking for a.) a good arcade that has alot of good fighting games (the only one we have around here sucks since it only has SC2 and I beat it only continuing once, all they have is DDR and other stupid shit.) and b.) More people to play fighting games against, the only person I have to play against is my friend and he isnt very good.
How come no one plays in Brighton any more?
I guess it’s not like anyone can though.
Does Brighton have an arcade at all? Because I was not aware of that when I went there last June.
No, It doesn’t, But I meant why doesn’t anyone play/post on here period anymore Finalshowdown doesn’t play anymore.
We used to have an arcade, but they went out of business or something I dunno.
If you missed out on Season’s Beatings in Dec, here’s another chance to play Ohio’s best – 2/24, check it out, hope to see you there.

I went to Pinball Pete’s and they have two CvS2 cabinets (I only played the big one, I didnt play the small one.), one MvC2, one 3s, two Tekken 5 DR, one SCIII, one SC1, one DOA2, one SVC Chaos (if anybody cares about that.), and one MSH. I only played CvS2, MSH, 3s, and MvC2 and their sticks worked great.
