AFC at one point had 3rd Strike and CvS2, but it didn’t make nowhere near as much money as Tekken 5 DR, or even Tekken 5. Plus, the fact that the cabinet/sticks they had installed on them weren’t the best on earth. So they pulled them well before the revamp.
If they were brought back, I think both games would do ‘so-so’ initially, but they’d get obliterated by what Tekken 6 is doing. The overall scheme would have those games worse off than before. So AFC has no plans in bringing those games back. Also at the moment, there are no plans to include those two games in next year’s Mayn Event tournament. 3rd Strike would be the more likely of the two if a return is made.
AFC is looking more towards the games of the future as opposed to the classic fighting games such as CvS2 and 3rd Strike. They are actively getting SF4, in addition to Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion (the upgrade to Tekken 6), and one other game that I’ll keep secret. I will bring in the masses, I assure you.
Please tell me “actively getting SF4” means they are getting SF4. I will spend $1000 playing that machine and my friend will the do the same. I would seriously play 100+ games a week until it came out on console. Even then, I’d still go the arcade because I like the atmosphere more. The console version is for practice and when the arcade is closed.
Hey just popping in to say nice seeing all the MI folk again.
VDO and Grego, I always see you guys. It was crazy seeing AVX again and hearing that he is getting back into the thick of things at CvS2. I hope he does real well at that. That darn guy always used to beat me in all the tournaments we played. Because of him I can once again have hope that the chosen one Massu will one day return to grace us in some games.

hi folks. I’m flying back to mi for a while, and I’m gonna be in grand rapids for the weekend after thanksgiving. Is there a 3s cab anywhere there? Usually I’d stop by ppetes in lansing, but I won’t be around there this time.
I don’t think there are any 3s cabs that work properly at any of the arcades here, but there are people who play regularly on console and I know of someone with a cab in their home.

WARNING TO MICHIGAN AND ILLINOIS PLAYERS: RUSTEEZZY IS A THIEF
Hi. Most of you don?t know me, so I?ll try n make this quick. Please beware of Rusty Anusorn, Chainak Anusorn, Rusty Tae Jin, or whatever name [media=youtube]lcij8RHQDDg"[/media] currently going by. Rusty stole quite a lot of money from me. I am currently in the process of suing him to try and get as much of it back as I can.
I found out that Rusty also stole from the Ann Arbor location of Pinball Petes. Just ask the manager or owner of the arcade and they will tell you that he stole roughly $3000 from them and that they are still very interested in tracking him down.
Rusty comes off as a very friendly guy, but should not be trusted. We probably shared more than a hundred meals together before he stole from me. This guy crashed at my place more than a dozen times. He came into my home, he ate my food, he slept at my place, and still he stole from me like it was nothing.
There?s not much stopping him from stealing from others. He goes by several names. I?ve never seen him present government ID, and I am not sure he even has a driver?s license. He doesn?t seem to have a permanent residence either: when I knew him he was crashing w friends, his aunt, his girlfriend, etc.
My advice to new and not well-known players is not to befriend this guy. Also, I encourage all players to give thought to barring Rusty from their local community gatherings. I realize he?s one of the top CvS2 players in the area, but his actions speak for themselves. This guy steals from fellow gamers and arcades. He?s a parasite on the fighting game community. I hope you will keep that in mind.

He was an employee at the arcade. I provided the name of the arcade and said that you can ask the manager or store owner if you dont believe me. I believe their names are Lance and Mike respectively and they are at the arcade during the daytime.
As for what he took from me, ur right I didnt say exactly how much he took from me cause frankly it was a lot more than I should have allowed. Its incredibly embarrassing. And, the exact dollar shouldnt matter; just know it was more than a few hundred. He borrowed from me, providing reasons such as having his wallet stolen and having to freeze his accounts, quitting his job, his aunt having a heart attack and not having health insurance. I knew of his friends, girlfriend, aunt; I had seen him around for years at the arcade, and I knew a former employer even. He had done me a favor recently, so I felt compelled to help out. I started out lending him just a little bit, but he asked for more and more over time. Then, he continually refused to pay me back over several months. He said he would pay me like 20 TIMES and always dodged me or came up with an excuse (this is not a fucking exaggeration at all, literally said he would pay me back this many times and failed to do so). It was clear he had no intention of paying me back. He was money matching people, he took a vacation to Korea, he was going to tournies, and still had not paid me back a cent. I made it clear to him how serious I was about getting my money back, but his actions did not change one bit…he always said he would pay me on X day and then disappeared. Eventually he forced my hand and I decided I had to sue him.
Since then I have found out a lot more about him. Three grand from the arcade and the multiple aliases all point to Rusty being a thief. It costs a couple hundred dollars to file a lawsuit and its a hassle. My claim, plus the fact that I am going through the trouble of suing him, plus his use of several aliases, plus his prior theft should be enough to make a reasonable, unbiased person believe my claim. I also have pms where we discuss the money he owes me. Quoting or forwarding them doesnt really do any good because they can be edited easily. But, Ill login into my srk account in front of any neutral party, at any time, to show them the pms. I know Rusty has a few friends in Ann Arbor, such as Kolonji and Alex. I am willing login to my srk account in front of them or anyone else (unbiased person) today, tomorrow, etc.
P.S. I never claimed I wasnt a giant sucker/moron. The point is what Rusty did, not how STUPIDLY I acted.
