dont know about 3s, its mostly people from out of town that play. But we have a decent amount of people from ann arbor to at least play cvs2, and i will enter 3s if enough people show up, and probably at least a couple other people from here.

On that note, I would like to publicly acknowledge that I, Hollow, am a complete asshole. I know it, you all know it. If I have said or done anything to offend you at any point, you probably deserved it. I call shit like I see it. If I say your skill ain’t where it should be, its because I have observed this community since its inception. If you suck, I’ll tell your ass. Instead of defending yourself, take heed to the words. The delivery may be tainted, but that doesn’t change the fact that you can’t combo into a goddamn super, bitch. Am I the greatest gamer? do I make mistakes? No, and yes. But at least I know where my limits lie. In order to get better, you have to see where you can make improvements in your style. That’s if you want to improve. If we as a whole AREN’T critiquing each other as gamers, what the fuck are we doing? We might as well play the CPU at home. If you leave your home, and put your skill level out to the public and you don’t know the basics, expect to get critiqued. That goes for me, also. Strange enough, no one ever tells me where I can improve on my shit. I know I need it. Anyone who has seen me when I play a new game (Robo w/PIMM, Ivy w/ Garou) I ask a million questions.

If you have a problem with me giving advice on how to improve yo shit, Fuck you. It’s what keeps me from stabbing myself in the eye when your opponent comes down from a Dragon Punch, and you low roundhouse him. When you got a full super bar. Fuck you. You do all that work, he gets up dizzy and you throw a fireball. Fuck you. You use whatever gimick the game has at the time as a crutch, without a solid foundation of fighting game combat. Fuck you. If I had my way, everyone would train, playing Hyper fighting for 13 months, with at least 4 characters. Zangief is mandatory. Fuck you. You leave when you can do 100 firebals in a row, 50 Dragon punches in a row, and 75 flash kicks. I actually did this when my uncle was training me. Fuck you.
My 2 cents where it ain’t wanted:
Obot is a cool guy I guess…none of us is perfect especially me. Everyone is different, being able to tolerate people is a good thing I think…hating people and dividing into cliques is too easy…and solves nothing. It only limits you.
Which brings me to my opinion of you, Obot. Your love for CVS2 and anything Capcom I think made you want to band with certain individuals in the community (Juan, Terrel, TKK, southfield guys, etc.)and it also caused you to close your mind any other type of game(Sammy, SNK, Namco, Naruto,etc.). No law against doing that but it alienates people against you sometimes. Don’t care? Fine. No worries, no complaining.
One time you put something weird in your sig…it went something like: “People I can learn from, VDO and TKK”…again, I’m not sure how you meant this, but it, but that statement could alienate people…it makes it sound like everybody else in the community sucks and VDO and TKK are the only go-to guys. It could also be misconstrued as “kissing up”.
Also I remember when you were 1st learning to play CVS2 you were very excited about roll canceling…before learning basic moves and strategies you were trying to perfect “roll canceling”…this did not make sense and sounded somewhat foolish (sorry).
I can’t really comment on the history you have with Sen Ivy…I’ll let you guys work that out.

Do anyone play Madden?
If so, a friend of mine is throwing a tournament I believe in Madden 2k5 at Wayne State University’s DownUnder. So far from what he told me the first prize award is a Xbox 360 copy of Madden 2k6. That’s all I know so far…when he give me an official date I’ll put it on here (it’ll be soon). Give me some feedback if you’re really interested. Anyone can come.
