i like the sound of SST so far. I also like the sound of people getting ready to own me in less than 10 seconds when the joystick makes its way to me at FNG. 
but seriously, can’t wait to play it regardless. I can probably pick ‘random’ and get the same enjoyment I would if I was to pick anyone who I think I’d have a chance with.

The new system (360) has been released…typically, software companies abandon old consoles for the new…don’t they? Anyway, can’t you just steal the ROM…or however that works? I mean it was an arcade game first.

Well, the bosses aren’t top tier or anything, according to the japs…from arcadia, the top tier is like, Mina, Iroha, Shizumaru, Kazuki, and Amakusa. I guess the tiers are pretty close set though.

Updates on weekly tournaments:
Starting this Saturday the 11th I’m moving the weekly tournaments from Sunday at 5 up to Saturday around 4:30ish-5 (I get off work at 4 but can get to Pete’s in 10 minutes).
Also I’m throwing the 3s tournament per request. No one in Ann Arbor plays 3s. I’m trying to learn but there’s no one to play against and I’m thinking of giving up. So if ya want to have a 3s tournament I hope you bring cats with you.

My avatar represents “Andrew”, a character on the new fighting game: “Samurai Shodown Tenka”…its my understanding it is actually meant to represent President Andrew Jackson…so after using the sprite from the game I thought the backround I chose was appropriate…besides, they play “Pomp and Circumstance” (I think thats what the song is called) during his stage…which is considered to be a very patriotic song.
I’ve yet to beat him once…he keeps doing that f*cking circular flame “ground” super of his or he breaks your weapon…in which they take an hour to throw it back.:mad:

That guy is a big pain in the ass. The easiest way I found to beat him (so far, and it’s kinda weird) is to get cornered and wait for him to finish one of his attacks. He leaves himself open pretty often, especially to throws. Beware though, he’s got some bullshit 8-hit combo that killed me even when I had over 3/4 of my health!! Which brings me to the question…Who the hell thinks of these bosses, and why won’t they quit laughing at my pain?
Iroha, Andrew, Kazuki, and Shizumaru are the shit in this game.
Man, it’s been a while since I last got into a fighting game as much as Sam Sho Tenka and NGBC. Both excellent games, and both look absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to test myself at the next FNG. Hopefully if it goes on next week, I can make it.
