What’s going on?
Celebrityfest posted yesterday that he heard through the grapevine about Wizzards Arcade possibly re-opening. It was kinda random, mainly because we’re the grapevine, and no one (that I know of) has really heard of such news except him apparently.
SRK was offline for like a half a day and erased a lot of the posts and remarks by other posters during that time.
Bringing the total viable information center count to 0.

That’s what I’m not getting. Celebrityfest, if you heard this information from someone like Dan, then that’s cool. If it’s just something you started to get some sort of ball rolling, that’s fine too, except:
–Don’t say it’s a rumor going around, when you’re the one who started it, and the only one who knows about it. Just make a proposal and we’ll see what we can do.
–Getting a list of games that only a certain few will play initially will only bring back Wizzards for a certain time. I’m sure if ownership wanted Wizzards to return, they’d want to correct some mistakes and make some serious changes to ensure the arcade is built to last.
So I’d rather have a list for Dan to consider regarding what made Wizzards’ succeed and fail. Games is only part of the solution.
If you still keep in contact with Dan, you can e-mail this post to him and see what he thinks about that. I think talking to him with a group of people would make more ground.

I thought they had been on about that planet x thing for a couple decades now.
Its not so much the money…its the city of Warren that hammered the fatal nail in Wizzard’s coffin. They are the ones you must contend with. Warren frowns on businesses that encourage loitering (of young people) is my guess…I think thats why the police were harrassing patrons at one time (except when a robbery was being committed).
I think the city would likely oppose any future licencing of that building for the purpose of arcade style gaming.

I don’t really think this thing’s big enough to do that, but it is still bigger than Pluto, and now as the astronomical community arguing over what constitutes a planet.
They know they can’t cut out Pluto without pissing off the public, and since this thing is essentially just a bigger Pluto, no argument they can come up with can really exclude it.

…They always get us coming from Massu’s place. They sit at the corner of Kelly road and wait til we’re leaving…and thats after they’ve rode past and viewed all of our licence plate #'s. So sumtimes they already know who they want.
…They got me once leaving Massu’s place. The bad thing is that I forgot my wallet at home so I had no ID what so ever. So I had sit in the back of the squad car til they found out who I was. To make it so bad, while I was in the car all I heard was them say how they “caught em one” for the night and giving each other dap and all. The funny thing was after I told them I was a PO, they contacted my sergent whom I’m cool with, and the Sgt and I started laughing about how I was hemmed up in the squad car. We had a 5 min convo about my upcoming vacation while they were just sitting there. Needless to say they let me out.
…I hate to think what would’ve happened had it been anybody else. Thank goodness for employee discounts.

I seen them Warren mutha fuckaz pull up and run EVERY CAR at Wizzards plate before… I mean they literally sat there and ran every car on the street and on the lot… Everette (Big dude who used to work there with the Jhery/S curl/Finger Wave thingies) was working there one night and his car just so happened to have bad plates, so they took his shit in and he had to pay MAAD money to get it out… Then i remember when we used to run Halo over yo crib, one night I was grippin the Caprice and I was watchin these mutha fuckaz, they had an unmarked car roll by like every 3 minutes, all he was doing was watching Wizzards the WHOOOOLE time… bastard ass mutha fuckaz, FUCK WARREN… We need to put Wizzards somewhere else if it were to reopen…
