Shadow of the Hawk…uh, was just ok. I thought that was a clumsy way of introducing Hawkman to the show…however, JLU is still the BEST show on television…PERIOD.

Judgement: So you would just bring the board with you when you were planning on coming down? You wouldn’t be willing to part with it? Lincoln is the only one who can do that sort of thing(taking out and replacing cartridges) and he’s not always there.
…up until now my main thing was playing CvS2 competitively, but now I’m trying to tone down the competiveness, learn some more games, and branch out to the rest of the community, hopefully making some friends in the process.
I like to keep things in the arcade as I prefer the arcade, would like to keep the arcade scene alive, and live near one of best and last arcades in Michigan.
Robotron, Final Showdown has played his fair share of people during his GGXX tenure, casual play and tournaments. I’ve seen both of them play…I’ll still give the nod to Clayton if they were ever to meet at the crossroads, at least for the majority of games. That’s a lot more credit than I’d give myself actually…since the Cali trip, I’ve yet to win a round against him.
At the moment, all I can do is drop it off. If you have any tournaments that I could attend on a Saturday, it’d have to be at least 8PM, and that’s only if I don’t close. Bowling season has started, so Sunday = NO tournaments for me.
I figure the community is more important than a man’s schedule (unless they’re running it). If I can drop the MVS cartridge off for people who are interested, and it brings the business in, I’ll do it. Bryce from Lansing did that with SamSho 2 at Wizzards, and it did fairly well for the month it was there. That’s better than nothing at all.

Anyway YMDSLTSAC lol umm acctualy I dont play GG on arcade, the layout is to crazy and I never had the chance(or will)to learn it on arcade…
Anyway though is it at all possible that if someone brought in a TV and a system that they could hook it up in the back by all those tables or something??? This is when of course I mean slash comes out, as well im sure when that comes out in a couple months ill start playing video games again, and would be willing to maybe run it myself if I had. Of course the fact I would have to bring a TV or something of that nature would mean that this kinda tournment probably wouldnt happen just every week as it woudl be a lot of work… well… sorta…
Honestly I just wouldnt mind have a tournment for GG every 3-4 months or something… Everytime I had i wanted to play the game with a group of people(besides once in a blue moon with aa guys… And I Know robotron has offerd for me to go to FNG before but anyway…) or in a tourment it was like I had to drive 3-4 hours for a tourment and that sucks… And since games well dont mean that much to me anymore I dont know if I feel like driving that distance to play games anymore…

Its to bad that the GG scene in michigan that everyone never played at the same time, or else im sure we coulda had some big tourments in the game shrug.

Clayton - We had a strong 4 or 5 peeps playing religously at on point, but now its down to a few playing sparaticly.
…I never thought I’d say this but I’m fading away from fighters and games in general. Mayby because I’m more into my dancing now. It puts me in a different mind frame. I’ll never completely turn away though.

I think you have me wrong, I said Tim was the best player I’ve had the pleasure of playing, not taking anything away from the others I’ve played here. I said I’d like to see them play (Clayton vs Tim), I was in no way betting that Tim would beat Clayton…I just said I would like to see them play, that doesn’t mean I think Tim is better than Clayton or vice versa…its just friendly competition talk.
I’ve heard talk of Clayton being ranked top 5 in the country or something like that…but whats wrong with friendly competition? Does The fact that Clayton is such an accomplished GG player mean that he is no longer allowed to play us locals?

Haven’t been in this thread in a while. But Kolonji… I’ll be home for thanksgiving weekend… you should run a tournament that saturday if you are in town.
And the Lions may have gotten killed… but I’ve thought about it. I think they can still win the division due to utter shittiness of it. My guess is 7-9 may win this division… because if you see the AFC and NFC divisions they have to play automatic losses… they are pretty much automatic losses for everyone in the NFC north. NFC south is like the best NFC conference. AFC east maybe the second best AFC conference. I am glad they have a bye week to evaluate how shitty they are.
On a side note, the other team I root for (because you have to as Lions fan, to get rid of the frustration) is 2-0… Tampa Bay. If they are 3-0 come next week… I am rooting against the Lions.

That show is great indeed. As far as Shadow of the Hawk goes, that’s one of the arcs you have to COMPLETELY be into the comic book for. That is the actual story between Hawkman and Hawkgirl, they are decendants that are destined to be together. If I didn’t read the books I’d be lost too on that one I guess :lol:
I like how they have the Old Legion Of Doom base back as well as the Hall of Justice for the League. And FINALLY MORE FLASH. KEEP THIS GUY IN THE EPISODES! My hard drive crashed so my cpu won’t be back up till next week. I’m at the library now :tdown:
