I was wondering if it’s alright for randoms to show up to these tournaments. I was thinking of coming out to DigitalOps on Aug 22nd but I wasn’t sure if it’s some kind of closed bracket or if it’s open to anybody to come and play. I could use the learning experience since I just got killed at the Mayn Event SF4 tourney and I’m starting to get really interested in going out somewhere to play competitively and to hang out with the Metro Detroit fighting game crowd
The tournaments are absolutely 100% open, and more people are always welcome!
If you every want to come out to Ann Arbor, or Gameyard to play outside the tournaments, that would be cool too.
People are gonna be at gameyard on this Thursday I think.

Sweet, thanks Aaron. I have a pretty hectic job so I don’t have a ton of free time during the week to drive down to Garden City (I live in Shelby Township) but I’ll definitely try and make it out for tournaments and maybe even outside of tournaments.

argh, i just saw the digiops website…apparently they don’t have a ps3? dang it, i only have a ps stick…are people kind enough that i can borrow one?

There aren’t regular get togethers at Ops, but we do play in Ann Arbor a lot. PM me and I’ll let you know next time we’re playing.
