Thank you once again and congrats to all the winners. Nice to see everybody could come out and be civilized, for once. Everybody have “blow up moments,” but nobody got into a fist fight. That is good a thing, because I do not think the food store have any HOT CHEESE POPCORN and Pink Lemonade Kool-Aid for the event of a fight, for me.
Good tournament guys, had a blast even though I was tired as balls. Lost to Jons Zangief which is 50/50 since I play him all the time, good shit though. Hai, as always good shit in Tekken. You raped me in grand finals but I enjoy playing you as it makes me realize what I need to work on. Nice seeing everybody again, hopefully see you guys at Gameyard in two weeks.

I’ll admit, I had no faith in this event and didn’t want to go. I thought that 15 max were coming, but hearing that 34-ish peeps were in SFIV alone, the biggest shit MI had a long time, I have to own up that I was wrong. I’ll be sure to come to the next one. You guys make it sound like good shit.
I guess I’ll post again when the results thread is up but I certainly had a good time yesterday. Always nice meeting new people and seeing a few familiar faces but of course I didn’t know too many folks. Very nice people overall. :tup:
For anyone wondering who was that strange new Michigan player you’ve never seen before, wearing that Nike hat and the Heath Ledger Joker t-shirt… well that was me and actually I’m not a Michigan player, I’m your friendly southern neighbor down in Indiana. This was my first trip up for a Michigan tournament in many years, basically back since the days of Wizards arcade in Warren when CvS2 was the new game. Man that was a long time ago.

oh btw- allan, yah, i know your mad salty about the whole not going to the tourney thing. but lemme correct you in pretty much everything you’ve said. I was the one driving, not new money. I was the one who decided to not take you after the things I saw you talking about. You sit there and talk about respect, dude, your a nobody. This community is growing after the fall of wizzards(if you even know what that was). We’ve still got our old school players and a buncha new ones. All the new players ive met are hella cool. Talkin about taking anyone in hdr on xbox, fuck outa here with that shit. you prove your skills at a tourney, face to face, in the crowd, pressures on, money on the line, etc. xboxlive warriors are weak. and P.S.
