FOOLISH FLESH CREATURES!! I, The Deity, will destroy ALL in Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 3. (evil laughs)

Well everyone, it seems like this RoninChaos person has really flipped out…over the internet. LOL

That ain’t really true, ladymachine. A3 machines have been few and far between, so alot of ppl played it at home.

Funny that you mention A3 fanboys, Ivy. Where did you get the name “Ivy” from again…?

Simple reason for that.

Capcom hasn’t made a 2-D fighter in years…along with the fact it was just a good game. I’m not fond of it, but everyone else seems to like it.

The only people I’ve ever met who played A3, outside of you folks, never bothered getting much into the game, so though they’re playing the game, they aren’t really “playing” the game in the competitive “I want to get good so I can kick my friends asses” way. I just don’t think an A3 revival is ever going to happen in north america, but hell, if just a few more people want to play the game, then all the better.

I never really got into A3 until the PSX one came out. I played it a few times at the arcade.

Hey Liokaiser How much did you play for you Saturn Pro Action Replay? I just got another Saturn today and I know if you plan on having ANY fun with that system you need that. Unless someone has a copy of Guardian Heroes they want to sell or they can burn:evil:

Batman comma rolleyes.

Although, I have been playing SC since it came out in the arcade because I liked SoulEdge; I didn’t pick up the game/a character because I saw someone do something cool with them, nor do I call it “SooruCariba 2,” because that’s what the l-challenged Japs would call it, just like there’s no fucking reason to call Alpha 3 “Zero 3.”

Also, I have a copy of Guardian Heroes I could burn for you, and now have an adapter for sticks to work on the xbox.

Good Lookin out, when can I pick it up?

Upon further thought, Ivy, “Zero 3” is on his Xbox, so he could very well have meant Zero 3, being that it is actually a better version than the American “Alpha” version.

(evil laughs)

I got mine for 'bout $40.00 'bout 6 years ago. It should be cheaper on Ebay now for at least $20.00, I hope.

TEKK SETTER!!

And in what way is it better; there was 2 months between 03’s final release, and A3’s final release, which we will assume, for no reason, mind you, that was NOT devoted to BS translations. What bug was in 03 that wasn’t in A3 that makes it a more viable game?

Whenever, I suppose.

Ivy, you wouldn’t exactly feel the same way we do about what makes the game better between Zero 3 saturn, and the actual arcade version. To people like Hollow, avx, and myself, we feel these are the best versions of the game, as will most anyone who plays the game seriously , as in when it was competitive. The reason it’s better is because Zero 3 saturn was DAMN close, almost exact to the arcade version. We don’t care about the BS that they added to the other console versions, as we can’t use that shit in the arcade version.

There’s plenty of good US saturn games, but there’s a bunch of good shooters in Japanland. I’d wager your best bet is to ask on a collector’s website or check on ebay. Saturn 4 in 1 carts = sweet.

Though I had the DC version, which is preferable in the way of re-picking characters after a win, I wouldn’t know about the urge to play a near-arcade version; I’ve been emulating the arcade version since it was possible, and thus have clearly missed out on the experience.

YOU CAN BURN SATURN GAMES!?!?!?

PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!!!

Regardless of what you have been emulating since Jesus walked the earth, you still didn’t play A3 to the point of attempting to master the gameplay (as you said). The opinions we have are our own, really, and there is no reason to justify them to you. I am sure you could give us detailed facts on why the Japanese version and American version of SC2 is better/worse, right? Let it go… I love ya, man!

Alpha 3/Zero 3 whatever you want to call it is TRASH!!! Point blank… it’s a fucking “WILD BUMS” game

Yes, not being able to repick your character is annoying, but you can set the machine to event mode. In the Saturn version you were able to repick afterwards as well, because there was a versus mode.

yeah, it’s pretty sweet, though I do believe you need some kind of “special” burner for it. I really can’t remember if I actually tried it yet, since my writer is a piece of shit, but I don’t think a normal cd writer works.

…or unless I’m getting mixed up with the Dreamcast burning…
