Actually, it’s Wizzards fault that they are going down the drain. Yes, there have been a lack of solid games that came out in past years, but many, many times Wizzards got rid of sure money makers. They rented out many a game that was doing well, and then never got it back. The owners of Wizzards both lived an hour+ away, and they weren’t hard pressed to drive all that way to fix a “broken” joystick, or button. Simply put, they stopped caring about Wizzards long before we did. If they games were there, they would have gotten played. They took out Tekken 3, PUT IT IN THE GARAGE, but kept Die Hard Arcade in the same spot for 3+ years. They were never in touch with what the community wanted to play, plain and simple.
Yeah you’re probably right there; it’s not as though a community can’t be fostered with a little bit of effort on the proprietor’s part anyway. Magic Planet did the same thing before they went under, except by the time they started trying to get back up, they ended up closed by some big bank deal. Machines sat in there unused for over 2 years before we went in and cleaned them out to build zap zone.
I didn’t have any of the “oh shit” mentality though, as I hated most of the people who went there.

I first came up to wizzards in '93. through that day till now i had the best gaming challenges from everyone I know. We all had the good and bad times. If it wasn’t for wizzards I won’t know any of you guys.When all gaming family no matter what. NARUTO 3 UPDATE!!!
It will pretty much feature everyone who was missing such as Ten Ten, Shino, Hokage, Tenmari, the chick who is supposed to be the next Hokage, forgot her name. Character Select screen has 25 spaces and I read that there are no doubles like 2 Narutos or Sasukes
Two Supers per character: Naruto now has a fireball super(haven’t seen the anime in a minute so I know I’m late), Sasuke has the Chidori, looks as if he can use his Sharigan like rock Lee’s down+X, plus he is already in the black outfit Kakashi has a combo super to the Chidori. Naruto appears to have a power up to his red chakara too.
Team supers for 3 on 3 action!!!

Went to Wizzards today and talked to MikeTaz. Apparently the tentative last day of business for Wizzards Arcade is this Sunday. A lot sooner than I thought it would be, making Saturday all the more important to be a Grand Finale for the players. Rules have been posted on the tournament thread I started.
