George, there are things that need to be discussed regarding your project.

Is there FNG today.

Saw some Tekken 5 matches…Looks just like Tekken 4…and Tekken 3…
Take that how you wanna.

on another note. im sitting here at my computer, and there’s a subtle rumble around here (not the pc, i just checked) that goes to the G.I.Joe theme… its a little creepy/kinda cool.

Damn, Gradius V is sweet as hell. How anyone would want to spend their money on inferior games like Guilty gear XX #Reloaded, or Fable, I don’t know. You’ve had the game longer, Robo…would you say it’s better then R-Type Final? I played Final a hell of a lot when it came out, but it’s too soon for me to say if Gradius V will have that sort of staying power for me.

Supposedly Xyanide comes out December 31st for Xbox, here’s hopin.

Can’t really compare the two games, Uber. I heard from many ppl Gradius V is excellent, but so is Fable. They are 2 different games, so a comparison is irrelevant. It all depends on what type of game you wanna enjoy. Three different games, from three different categories. Inferior is a matter of opinion.

You’re right, I can’t believe someone would want to compete directly against their friends, or run around doing little quests when they could be moving up and/or right while holding down the shoot button and weaving through projectiles of which the ship moves faster than.

Overall, yes. There are some things about R-Type Final I like better, but G5 is the better of the 2. Excellent replay value, and at 29.99 or less, you can’t beat it for the buck.:cybot:

That makes no sense.

Fable is TRASH and thats a fact!!!

A good number of projectiles don’t move that much slower, or at all slower…you just have to have good reflexes to get out of the way, something you don’t see with an RPG, see, because RPGs take no skill.

Competing for high scores > lag filled Live play.

I can compare any games I want on entertainment factor, whether or not someone agrees is irrelevant.

Edit: Robo, take a look, new DC shooter comin out!

I meant, you know, actually going over to people’s houses, or having them over to yours. I guess I forgot who I was talking to.

Wow.

Someone up there likes me…they continue to make shooters.

Thanx Uber.

Ivy…speaking for myself, these types of games (shooters) are my favorite…even over fighting games. In the beginning of home consoles (Atari), thats all there was, really. I’m old, so I stay with my roots…of course I can’t speak for Uber, but its just what I like.

FNG wouldn’t be much fun if I forced everyone to play G5…I plan to set up FNG for FPS probably by the time Halo 2 rolls around, even though I don’t FPS that much.

Shooters are fun, they are still very popular in Japan.

 good stuff Robo

Uber did you try that Mech assualt yet?.. on-line that is

Ivy would you happen to have a copy of Tribes(with cd key)? I’ll trade you my latest issue of Horse Porn weekly for it or money… what ever you want

Horse porn???

You must be kidding, right?

You read that, Ivy?:cybot:

(evil laughs)

FOOLISH FLESH CREATURES!! I, The Deity, will destroy ALL in Naruto 2 & 3. (evil laughs)

it’s not my fault that you lack basic english skills to get your point across correctly.

I haven’t actually hooked up my Xbox to Live in a few weeks. I just picked up a router, so whenever I get off my ass to set it up, I’ll probably be on more often. As for mechassault itself, I think I’ve played it like once since I got it…metroid prime and robotron 64 are serious time killers.

Amd yet you aren’t questioning how someone could like genre a over genre b.

Tribes 2.

Horse porn is a running joke about playing at LTU. One week there was a bunch of us playing games on two of their 1080i screens, and 3 smaller tvs, so the “cool guys” came out to watch porn where we were playing, because we are obviously losers who are playing video games.

Actually it would be your fault that you seem to think the default for human interaction is via the computer.

bullshyt.

Well, considering that your potential pool of opponents is much, much larger on Live, and for many people, it’s their only source of opponents, I’d say it’s a major buying point for a lot of people.

I’m positive at least 70% of the people buying GGXX#R are getting it for the online play. Probably more then that. We’re lucky around here-we’ve got a number of people we can play against since we have a community. Would a guy in some podunk in Utah be so lucky? I doubt it.
