lol same to you, me and my friends never play ex characters and if we mistakenly do it we gotta give up the controller next match regardless of results, but since I’ll be going to fng, fng rules lol. I’m sure I’ll do fine against ex characters
lol I used to be a hardcore Madden fan only, but my friend bought 2 copies of espn 2k5 by mistake (ordered one online, cancelled it but too late and then bought it at the store) and it’s really fun. Regardless, both have their pros and cons, but I think they both have to work on their o-line AI lol. The “screw the inside d-lineman who is rushing, I’ll go try to double team someone else and let him go in unscratched” idea gets annoying lol.
On the topic of Ricky Williams, I think most people hated him from before, if they didn’t they probably do now. Eventually this will all die down and everyone will laugh at the dolphins for going from a super bowl contender, to being a below .500 team.
I’m expecting an 8-8 season from detroit personally. Less and I’ll be dissapointed…Harrington is great though.
I’m sure 99% of the stuff you said is probably true…
Its clear that there are people in MI that are trying to improve all the time…Obot, yourself, Keshawn, etc. Personally, I don’t try to discourage that. I’d love to see someone from MI beat the Justin Choi nerds from Cali…that’d be great. My remarks are generally aimed at the casual players…most of us are working, have families, dealing with relationships, etc…too many other things worry about than learning to master the latest glitch in CVS2 or something. I spend vast amounts of time gaming…but I think I’d go nuts inside a week if I just sat around playing CVS2 and marvel vs capcom all the time. Like right now Gradius 5 and Worms 3-D owns me…next month it’ll be SamShoSpecial and Guilty Gear Isuka…
Anyways, good luck…hope one day you beat those guys out there.
Oh, your gonna see alot of ex peeps if you come to FNG…I am gonna switch back to regular Faust. My Slayer is already ready already for you, Josh…
A lotta mua fuckaz don’t understand that nowadays, thats why its hard to GIVE A FUCK about a video game like certain mua fuckaz do (Obot with CvS, Sean with MvC2, etc) when some people like me actually have lives and don’t give a shit/damn/fuck about no fuckin video game
GET MONEY BITCHES
To you broke bitches sitting at home in ya mammas crib practicing how to roll cancel or doing Fagneto infinites hoping that punk ass degree you going to school for is gonna get you a job one day, this is what you do
Wow, that’s wacky. Thanks to the man who brought it back.
I just got my Xbox Live kit in the mail today, is it possible to use a crossover cable to hook it directly from the modem to the console? I don’t have a compatible router, nor long enough ethernet cables.
Im going to throw this out to anybody that may know or give their opinion, what I want to know about is the False Roman Cancels in Guilty Gear, would they be considered a Glitch in the game or not, Joe (wizards) and I had a heated (but friendly) discussion about it today and Id like to know some peoples thoughts on the subject
Not glitches, rather, intentionally programmed, move-specific RCs. Normal RCs (red rings, 50% tension) can be used with most physical attacks (normals, specials, and Overdrives). FRCs (blue rings, 25% tension) only work for certain moves, which ones varying according to the character, and they must be timed precisely in order to work.
Examples of FRCs:
-Ky’s Charged Stun Edge
-Jam’s throw
-Slayer’s f+P
-Eddie’s Invite Hell
-Sol’s Gunflame
-Millia’s Iron Savior
-I-No’s Chemical Love
-Chipp’s Zansei Rouga
-May’s Mr. Dolphin! (horizontal and vertical)
-Axl’s Rensen Geki
-Testament’s EXE Beast
-Dizzy’s Arctic Impaler
-Baiken’s Tatami Gaeshi
There are more, of course, but they all take practice to do consistently.
LOL. I guess you believe I actually sit and play for 4122312123 hrs a week CvS2. I probably play videogames less than you do. You know why I don’t play Halo or RPGs or other shit? Because they take time. I don’t feel like wasting all that time to learn new shit/play new shit. I probably work more than most of the lazy ass fools posting on this thread. I go to school (oh shit I sound like Lycan). I probably could post numbers and brag… but there is no fucking point to that. You know why? Because thats just shit you gotta do. Thats my life. This is a videogame site. So I express what my desires are as far videogames go. As I did. I mean seriously, a guy who plays Gradius 5 and whatever else, is acting like I play games all day? I barely play. I own exactly 0 systems in my house. Its hard to play when you own that many systems. You think just because I don’t come on here and tell people lame ass shit like about how much I make and how I handle my shit etc etc, means I play CvS2 all day. I personally think the people who do shit like talk about that crap, are usually the most insecure about who they are. I couldn’t care less, because I’m sure you believe that I play CvS2 and do nothing else… something that cracks me up, considering you guys are the ones that play 3413213213213123 different games.
Look, if you’re going to exaggerate numbers, at least put commas; otherwise just say shit like “You think I play a shitload of games, when in fact it is you that plays a fuckton of games. Way to project.”
I don’t see how people get so worked up over stupid shit like who plays more games than who, and then let some of these ignorant-dipshit egomaniacs blather their flapjacks all day without saying “listen, you little shit; no one gives a fuck.”
I think this conversation started over glitch gaming…
cheese, u have no consoles??? Wow, thats funny. Then you must live at Pete’s or FS’s house. The fact that you are good at CVS2/GGXX means you had to spend time playing it somewhere, right? Lots of time. I think you play CVS2 alot because thats all I ever hear you talk about. Yup, this is a fighting game site…but the thread you post in is: Midwest Matchmaking>Michigan 2004 or something like that…so really anything goes. As far as people bragging about their personal life…you really can’t mean me, because I have nothing to brag about. I am a disabled, out of work robot. Are you referring to TKK talking about his job and family or what? Refresh my memory.
Anyways, I reversed my earlier thoughts on your RC/copy jap internet video tactics/spend 100 hrs a month playing CVS2…hey, go for it. CVS2 rocks! Beat ricky choi!
EDIT: Oh, I read back a few post…U must be talking about Lycan, I guess. BTW…Yes…I probably play more games than you, thats because I don’t work…thats the only reason. I have an excuse for not working. Prior to my illness I worked like a fool…(ok, I’m gonna brag now…OH NOOOOOOOOOOOO!:)) I am a trained licensed heavy equipment operator…I operated bulldozers, frontend loaders and cranes at the Detroit Incinerator Plant…made dam good money (over the $20 range) thats why I own my house…my house may not look like much to someone like you…a guy that when he finishes school is certain to make 6 figures right away, but its mine…I’m not living with my parents…they are deceased. I do however plan to go back to some type of school…computer related field I guess, after I take care of some unfinished business.
Dammit! I forgot…you don’t give a shit! Sorry about that, cheese.
Ivy, its typical to start a new thread when the old one gets over 1000 posts. Its always been done. Just because you say something should go, for whatever reason, does not mean its gonna change because you say so. Sorry.
As far as gaming goes, IMO, if you can game as much as you want, and still take care of your business, more power to you…
So they (the move list or something that would identify FRCs as being intentionally added in the game) would be in the pamphlet that came with the game with? I don’t have the game I’d just like to know
In the actual instruction book for ggx2 (u.s.), there are no listings of FRCs, there is info on regular RCs, but this doesn’t mean FRCs are not intentional.
An easy way to tell that they are intentional is to go into training mode and pick any character really. At the bottom it’ll show FRC timing for particular moves that they have.
