K-groovers? I try to throw them the whole match, and rushaway (thx Nate) when they are enraged. That is messed up, though. they get more meter for getting hit, than actually just defending.

YEAH, JD RULES… but it still has a hard time agenst P-grove and even you need to admit that one! P-grove gets TIME BONUS. abilaty to attack after one parry. in the right hands it can jack up a K grove almost anyday of the week. I really hated saying that, but it had to be said.:mad:

People that play GGx #R beware the game has a ton of glitches that can be hella abused!
For instance slayer (the character who I play) has a glitch that gives all his moves extra invincibility frames. Even worse, nobody else can do this. Pwft! and you thought Roll canceling was bad!

Well first of all every character has glitches, its guilty gear.
Slayers glitch is somewhat difficult though.
To get invincibility on his moves you have to cancel his dash, back back, or forward forward by a jump, then cancel his jump into a move.

Regardless where you get the info, knowledge is power. Even if you do get a combo from another person, internet, etc, you still have to be able to DO it. That’s all part of getting better:taking whatever you can use in combat, and runnin’ with it. from the internet, or another person, where is the wrong in gaining knowledge? Doesn’t matter where you get it, just get it. The weakest gamers are the ones who think they know everything, and don’t continue to learn.

What takes the fun out of gaming are people who take it way too seriously. Gaming was intended for fun. Some of you need to examine the reasons why you play video games in the first place, really. You’d be better off focusing on life pursuits, God/family/relationships/job/career…and then gaming as a side hobby…an important side hobby, but hobby none the less.

The “ELITE” few that have won tournaments locally won a computer or a couple dollars that probably hasn’t defrayed the cost/or amounts of money they’ve spent playing them/learning to play them. So what have you really gained but a few niggas around Wizzards saying: “Dam, did you see what so and so did last night on CVS2???” Is that what most of you are playing for? You wanna be the next Ricky Choi?
There are much better ways to make a name for yourself in life than being the best at CVS2 or Guilty Gear.

Going to a faqs page for tips on how to do a dragon punch, how to burst, stringing combos or something like that makes GOOD sense. These are basic game mechanics. But endlessly searching the internet to learn glitches or to copy “move for move” someone elses shit is: Gay/stoopid/faggotry/dumbness. I’ll say it to my dying day. For example, learning “Roll Cancel” on CVS2 before you’ve learned/studied the “BASIC” mechanics of the the game is “STUPID”.

Naruto 3 news
The games character line up will be placed into teams of 3. Kind of like how KOF had teams of 3 in 98’ and such. Teams are set up just like they are in the series
The Sand - Kankuro, Temari, Gaara
Konoha’s Rookie teams
Konoha’s Elite - Rock Lee, (Tam Tam), Neji
Sensei team - Kakashi, Guy, Ikura
The only actual characters announced were Choji, Jaraiya, and Temari. I’m guessing with the team line up idea, and especially since they put Temari in the game, that Tam Tam, and Shino will be in the line up as well. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up putting the 3rd Hokage and Tsunade as well. And if they put Kabuto in there, which I wouldn’t doubt, I could see them putting in Shizune as well.
