RIP, King of Pop. You’ll be missed. =/
I listened to my MJ mix on my way to work today.
everyone was tryin to do the moonwalk in milwaukee back then lol, im not a pop fan but he was definitely influential. itd be a shame if he was really innocent all these years and never got to truly shed the label he got after those trials.
Edit: thriller was pretty straight.
I forgot about the moonwalk. That guy made an incredible number of contributions to pop culture.
My brother had the jacket/glove in the day. And the Thriller poster which I’m sure led to a lot of homosexuals.
I appreciate the artistic genious that Michael Jackson was.
That is all I will say on the matter.
I was all hyped because XBL released a handful of his videos in commemoration - then I realized they’re milking it for money and was rather disgusted. I thought they’d be free, but nah any chance to make money off someone dying and $_$
I’m not sure what you mean by ‘milking it for money’ … ? You realize those are licensed and they can’t give it to you for free unless they eat the cost themselves?
People get pretty “confused” about the fact that valid legal licensing costs money.
Sometime go figure out how much money MS pays in licensing and legal fun. That’ll shut people the fuck up. It is a business, but it sure as hell isn’t “profiteering”.
Well yeah, you’re right. I didn’t think of it like that. I think they should take the costs anyway. For MJ!
So then elias should be mad at the person(s) that own the license(s) that is allowing MS to put the videos up for $_$???
After a long research study… I have come to a conclusion on Michael Jackson’s death…
LIGHT YAGAMI " AKA KIRA " did it. It has to be the Notebook. He must be STOPPED!!!
hahahahah jetay that makes me laugh a little because I just started watching that show.
word! Bastards cashing in on people’s deaths.
Licensing costs will be there regardless, but I agree that one side should eat the costs in honor of his death. Especially if you want to get his music out to a new generation.
Clearly, especially when his estate is bankrupt and desperately needs the money and on the other sides when most companies are laying people off. Clearly it’s a great call to eat the costs and have to lay people off as a result.
there’s always unemployment
better than getting your hours cut by 80% until you’re basically forced to quit. I see your points though, I look pretty stupid now.
