No, there is such a thing as a connection that’s better than another. The connection we had was no good. It wasn’t just lag: hiccups, dropped packets and dropped frames. You might be used to playing on a bad connection and it therefore affects you less than it would affect another player.

That said, yes: it was on the team to individually test the connection and determine if it was right for everyone, and if not, to make arrangements in advance to either fix the connection or to simply play somewhere else.

When the next 5 on 5 happens, this will not be an issue.

I also green bar with people in MD/VA and occasionally play people north of California without a problem. What I said is that the connection at FR was ASS. As in, stuttering, huge packet drops were the game was unplayable for a couple of seconds, that’s a BAD connection, that’s what I’m referring to as shitty online play.

In the end it’s not like the connection at ZP was amazing, but I’ll take that shit over FR’s connection anyday. It could have been a shitty connection on their part, but once again, no one took this shit seriously and we ended up getting shafted in the end. You also cannot blame this solely on the players, cause if you knew anything about what was going on, you would know otherwise.

Yeah I got you. What happened might be that you have a really good connection and your TV has a little latency, or maybe just people don’t like playing online period and you’re used to it.

People have different opinions on how they like things and nothing is going to be perfect… fact.

The connection at FR was definitely not good. That said, no one actively went to the arcade to test it… besides Albert.

Altogether everything was handled poorly and communication was ass. Everyone is at fault to some extent. Growing, learning pains… we learn from our mistakes now so that we don’t repeat them in the future.
