I don’t play any fighter by myself, because that’s fucking lame. There is competition (for HDR), it’s just that 99% of it is either online or out of state.
Yeah… but thats lame. You know how I know? Because I did that shit too. I played third strike in michigan when 1 or two guys max played it… and only I took it serious. I played alpha 2, third strike, and alpha 3 online all the time when I knew the only one I would be able to play a tourney in would be 3s. Street fighter 4 is the future, its whats being played and Im telling you that matters 10x more than wether you think its the best game ever. I personally think A3 and 3S are way better games than the rest of all the capcom fighters combined. But it doesnt make online play accurate, and it doesnt make practicing all the time for zero tournies worth it. Your free to make your own decision, and believe me if I lived in japan ALL I would play would be A3 and 3S, but tournies and RL competition >> than playing your favorite game.
