Let me post one more time:

Team tourney 2v2:

  • Entry fee: $10.00 per team

  • Sign-Ups will start at 4:00, and matches will begin no later than 5:00.

Rules:

  • Double-Elimination
  • Cannot have multiple characters (ex. having 2 Makoto’s on the same team)
  • Best of 1; GF 2/3

If less than 2 teams come within 45 minutes after sign-ups begins, the team tourney WILL be cancelled.

Heads running it are probably Joe, Mike, and I.

Nice meeting people from the internet, the button on my pants broke though so I was pissed, and if you don’t have stable pants you instantly lose.

I had to go up against some good people too, woe is me who doesn’t have a stick to practice on, gets good at the controller, and then loses at the arcades. My friend got lucky though, he got to play against an easy Hugo

Thanks to everyone who came out to the tourney and made it a great one. MGL Pre-EVO Battle had over 70 people there according to the amount of wrist bands given out. Do to time and efficience we had to cap 3s and CvS2. I wanted to say sorry to those of you who came out but couldn’t enter. I hope you understand and will keep attending future MGL tourneys.

I especially want to thank everyone who help ran a tourney. Huy, Will, Jimmy, Anthony, Mike, Ian, Dan, Bronson and anyone I forgot to mention. Thx!

ThyAllmighty… that was a gg me and you had first round. I had to work my ass off after you sent me to the losers bracket and 1 game in losers could be so random. And why does it have to be called LOSERS? How about SECOND CHANCERS.
