Yes we still hold events bi-weekly for SSFIV. Although SSFIV at VERSUS tends to be more of a casual gathering these days but we can hold a tournament if enough people wish to enter one. Head to head means we have the option to setup the PS3 stations head to head like the arcade cabs if players wish to play like that.

For all you Street Fighter III fans out there, we now host a 4th Strike station with amplified sound during VERSUS bi-weekly! (Yes I said 4th Strike… not 3rd Strike).
Does anything Marvel related go down Thursday-Saturday? I’m going to be visiting some family in Fremont and wanted to get some experience playing people form the other side of the country.
We mainly hold Marvel on Tuesday atm during our When’s Marvel Weekly event. If there’s interest or a request for UMVC3 during our Friday “VERSUS” events I can setup a station or 2 for it. This Friday will be a VERSUS night since this past Friday was our Tekken night. It’s possible for UMVC3 this Friday, especially since our usual WMW Tuesday event is cancelled this week for a 1 week break.

Longshot, but do any AE/MvC3 players travel up from/through the Monterey area? I’m in Cali for a while but I don’t have my own car to get around that far. Would throw in for gas and stuff, obviously.

How is the arcades part here again? aside from the tourneys? it’s been a long time since I got here and last time I was here (last summer 2013) the arcade looks very beat up. the fighting games were split up everywhere and the CvS2 cab was outside???
so yeah is the arcades doing better now?
The cabs hardly get any play and don’t make enough money to maintain them. It’s probably not a good idea to invest in them anymore and I think they are for sale honestly (minus SFIV). It’s pretty much all about our weekly event on friday nights with all the new titles.
