Yeah, that 1p stick is funny. It works, though, once you get used to not having a solid neutral position. The 2p buttons are a different story. Expecting to cancel a run to avoid a super and ending up running into Sagat’s legs flopping about is kinda crappy. Plus, it makes you look like a bad player…
I’m not sure where everyone lives, but SVGL seems closer to everyone I know than MGL. The comp may be different at MGL, I know they’re good and worth playing, but the comp is still good at SVGL in all games. Having 2 working cabinets for CVS2 and 3rd Strike might make a difference too.

Mr. B here “SUPPOSEDLY” has strengths in other games cough…3rd Strike and is said to be “AIGHT” in MVC2…correct?

I dunno bout MVC2 but our 3rd Strike cabinet was in perfect working condition at that time if I do remember correctly. My point? Mr. B here is bashing us for one game that was really broken. Not once did I see Mr. B make an effort to use his “STRENGTHS” in 3rd Strike…a cabinet that is well in working condition and that had mad competition at that time.

Hey MGL that would Milpitas Golf Land right??? (sorry i am new here but hey i was wondering if there are any tourneys going on up there any time soon. I might also be hold a tourney my self over here in Santa Cruz if any one is interested.
Thats correct MGL=Milpitas Golfland…and yes we’re planning on having a tourney (3s MvC2 CvS2) by the end of this month. But before we make any commitments someone broke our CvS2 2p side LP and MP…we’re gonna replace everything on the control panels before anything.
We’ll keep you posted…
P.S-keep us posted on the Santa Cruz tourney maybe some of us will show.
Allright cool…But the tourney that might heppen here is an independent tourney not at an arcade…but most likely the best locals might show up and so far i got like 17 people interested and it isnt for another month or so so expect more to come.
Oh yeah the tourney is also an invite only to keep all the scrubs out, and it will most likely be played on a 120" screen with a HD projector if that tickles your fancy
I don’t see the point of complaining so much. B came up to me and said “good shit on choosing the 1st player side.” Right after he said that my friend Dippy (who was also playing on the right side along with B) told me that there was nothing wrong with it. And even if it was messed up at the time; what’s the point of making a long as post about how the whole arcade “bites the dust.” I was at new park earlier that day & the controllers there were messed up too, but i’m not posting about how new park sux. Oh, and i guess MGL is a fantasy arcade now since it’s not a real one :china:
